After striking out at Walmart & Best Buy for MITB, I figured id try a Kmart. After giving up, I found a copy sitting in the cd section. Lucky find for me.

Before I buy a dvd, i always check the store sites to see if they have it in the store. I checked HMV.ca n Bestbuy.ca for Money In The Bank 2011, n they both say pre-order 8/23/11. Is there any reason why Canada's release is next week?

I can't wait for the Shawn/Bret blu-ray that is going to be awesome. I don't always buy ppv dvd's but I'll be getting MITB for the Cena/Punk match alone

Just pulled the trigger and bought the "Very Best of Monday Nitro" FYE Exclusive off of ebay for $29.99 shipped. Niether FYE store by me has it in stock, and FYE's website has it for $27.99 before tax & shipping so I got it for a decent price.
I am a HUGE fan of exclusive dvds, and I'll be proud to add this to my collection of store exclusives like Trish Collector's Edition Piper 4 disc edition Hogan 4 disc (matches) edition those Best Buy store exclusives like HBK, Cena, Rey, Edge, Eddie the Walmart Exclusive of the 15th Anniversary of Raw the Bonus disc versions of the Eddie Viva La Raza dvd (one came with the Raw tribute show, another came with the SD tribute show) Armaggedon 2005 WM Exclusive GAB 2004 Walmart exclusive TNA Knocked Out exclusive cover and so on...

Anyone here think we need a new NWO dvd? The old one is getting relatively expensive, and I don't even remember it being that good. They could do a 3 disc set: Disc 1: Documentary (hopefully in depth) from bash at the beach, up until the end of the WWE run. In that, they'd cover: The original, NWO Japan, Wolfpack, Hollywood, Elite, NWO b-team, NWO 2000, and the WWENWO. Make this documentary REALLY LONG like they did for the Hart Family dvd.
Disc 2: Collection of promo's, and similar things.
Disc 3: Matches.

I have to say.....I'm a little disappointed there's no MITB Blu Ray. Given the magnitude they built the event up to be, they could have easily thrown Punk's match to become No. 1 Contender, his original promo, his promo with Vince. Hell, they could have thrown on some of those cool MITB promos they made about past winners.
But no. We got a DVD of a great event, with one extra interview.

I typically only buy one show a year (WM) & for the first time in years I wanted to get another one. Of course they end up pulling it from the blu ray. I was really hoping Punk's big promo would have been an extra because that's what blew everything up. Hell, if they came out with a blu ray in a month I would still buy it after getting the dvd. I might lose $15 in the process, but whatever.

They used it on the Nitro dvd not too long ago. As for interviewing him about it, I'm sure theres tons of footage out there they could use

made a trip to boston with some friends yesterday and even though they don't like wrestling they helped me track down a newbury comics which wasn't far from where we were at all and man did they have a motherload of old ppvs, there is a small amount i need to complete 03-07 and they seemed to have every single one but i only chose 4 for now and I ended up getting backlash 03 for 7.99, judgement day 2005 for 5.99, judgement day 2007 for 5.99 and the big steal vengeance 2006 for 3.99. overall a good day in boston and I was able to fill some holes in my collection. If anyone has any ppvs from 03-07 that they want to trade/sell just shoot me a pm.

I love Bryan Danielson but I'd gladly have taken the first Punk promo in its place. But whatever. I'm glad we at least have it on DVD.

Whaaa...so there is NO Blu-Ray release of MITB? That makes 0 sense. A few weeks ago I checked Best Buy's website and they had it up there for Blu-Ray and DVD.
Why would this NOT be on Blu-Ray? Even Over The Limit got a Blu-Ray release! WTF!?
On another note, I am really looking forward to The Ladder Match 2 set. The first one is one of my favorite DVDs in my collection.

Huge update on Austins DVD set: 4 DVD'S!!!!! Austin also said on Twitter that there would be a blu ray with 3+ hours of more content
Jim Ross posted a new blog on his official website at JrsBarBQ.com discussing a number of topics, including his work this week on the forthcoming WWE DVD set on Steve Austin. In regard to the Austin DVD, Ross wrote:
"Worked Tuesday night viewing the new Stone Cold DVD with Steve Austin and the talented WWE TV production crew. Austin's FOUR DVD set will be in stores around the end of November and should be on shelves worldwide for the holidays. @steveaustinbsr and I did alternate commentary ala a narration on Steve's Wrestlemania bouts vs. Bret Hart (WM13), HBK (WM14), and the Rock (WM17). Even though these matches have been on other DVDS they have never had our alternate commentary which will provide fans will a unique, inside look at the matches in both an informative and humorous, at times, manner. This was one of the most enjoyable broadcasting experiences that I've had in years.
The closing music video for the 2+ hour documentary portion of the Austin DVD is as moving as any I've ever experienced in the business.
Steve was really hands on in the production of this DVD which makes it more personal and special. Plus, it includes a visit to his South Texas, Broken Skull Ranch. Many major names within the business are included with comments on the DVD including Vince McMahon, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Christian, CM Punk, Rock, Paul Heyman, Dutch Mantell and many others."
