 Hey, So yeah over the past few weeks, theres been advert for this show, it starts here in the UK tomorrow, and was wondering what you guys thought of it and if its funny or not, To me it looks funny but it seems like one of those sitcoms that i know i'll hate. I read on here the other week that its got picked up for a 2nd season too. |

yeah I read about it somewhere then saw the advert for it earlier today on TV. What's the premise? Is the dog actually there or has Frodo gone nuts?

Yep, the story is that everyone else just sees a dog, Frodo sees a human in a dog suit.
It took a few episodes to really find its flow, but I'm really starting to like this series. Elijah Wood has been good since it started, it just took the story a little bit to catch up to his level (I'm a big Wood fan).
No spoilers, but the latest episode, especially the final scene, honestly had me tearing up a bit since I'm a huge dog lover.

I love it. I haven't liked a new comedy this much since Sports Night was on the air. Hope it lasts longer than SN did.

This show has been killed by the yank's just like every show they try and make their own. This was an AUSTRALIAN show first which has been completely f***d by hollywood.

This show has been killed by the yank's just like every show they try and make their own. This was an AUSTRALIAN show first which has been completely f***d by hollywood. I'd empathize with you more if the show sucked, but it doesn't. Most of the time it's quite funny, and having Elijah Wood means that "Hollywood" is at least somewhat committed to giving this show a serious chance. |
