Though im new to the custom board i have been making customs for about 7months now , i like the jakks more than mattel for some reason . They seem to be easier to paint . Ill be working on ttl necro , da raven , da jacobs and da kendrick.

Anybody still do jakks customs anymore? I saw TD#1's custom and it made me want to pull out some old parts... I just posted a jakks Red Rooster custom Sunday. I've posted dozens in the past, but was on hiatus for nearly a year. I'm currently working on a few more. |

I still do only RA customs. I haven't switched over to Mattels and with their prices, I don't see myself doing it anytime soon. Never got into DA either Nick, would goof off remove tats as well? Goof Off does remove tattoos as well. Tested it out on a Punk arm. You will use a crapton of Q-Tips, so make sure you have plenty on hand. Anyone have a good head idea for Davey Richards? Conway or Dynamite Kid head for Davey   |

Anybody have any head suggestions for a Round 5 version of Chuck Norris? If you are unfamiliar with the figures, visit Round5mma.com. I modified a Randy Couture thinking it'd work, ended up looking like Kurt Angle. Painted beard red to see how well it'd look like Chuck.  |

 I used a smiling Kennedy. You could use any Kennedy really and it'd probably work. The later RA one would work well. |

Looks great. Not sure about Mattel jeffs, but still looks good anyways.
Was there a conversation about how to remove facepaint from jeff figures that I missed? Has anyone tried removing paint from the more recent Jakks figures?

My Elite HHH figure (Best Of series) has a more tan skin tone than Skip. Can't speak for all of them.

Does anybody have and Elite 4 big show that they are willing to get rid of? I've tried the classifieds but that trade board is ridiculous. Anyway, I'm working on some stuff that I can't wait to post. Wish there was a Custommania this year but I guess nobody is interested in putting it together...

id love to participate in custommania , im a new customiser but my customs are alright i suppose . sad to see this board die , too many fix ups and use of sharpie . About a week ago i looked through all 500 pages of the old thread , kinda miss M2K

If we did a customania, it should showcase people's ability to sculpt and paint. Maybe atleast a full body repaint, and atleast head modding to qualify.
