I've seen some Giant Gonzales customs, but I'm not sure what in the world people have used for them. 1 of them I've seen is HUGE.....and that's an understatement.
So, not sure if you guys have seen the custom Warrior in LOD attire by ultimatecustoms82; I messaged him and asked him if he minded if I went about it with a Mattel Warrior. He was all about it.
Instead of using the boot tassles that come with Warrior, I used the better tassles of DBS, along with DBS boots. Once I figure out where my wife put the camera, I'll snap some pics. It's almost done, just need to touch up the red on the trunks.

So I've emailed Ralph for a custom order, to see if he could fulfill it.
If not, is there anyone on the site that makes quality clothing for figures?

Any advice on what type of primer to buy?
Thanks in advance.

I've seen in the past what Krylon can do. Apparently that stuff is amazing; bonds to the plastic so well. If you're not feeling the whole spray on primer, testors has a primer that you brush on; mind you, you'll have to go for every nook and cranny on the figures if you go this route.

Thanks, I'll probably try Krylon and and testors, just to see which one is easier for me to use.
Also, I'm buying some acrylic paints from testors and wondering which one could work for skin tones?

There is a light skin tone made by testors, darken it with some orange and it can match well with Mattel's factory skin color. Thank you.. I placed an order for a couple of paints unfortunately I got the tan base color instead of the skin tone, hopefully I can get a decent skin color.

He has an eBay account, but he never responds to anyone on there. He owes me things for stuff I have paid for months back, but that's why he isn't on here any longer. What kind of work are you looking for?

What. The. F.
I'm having the hardest f-ing time removing the knee joint from HBJ.
Has anyone else attempted this? I've used a hairdryer for years to soften joints, I'm about to go with the boil/pop method...something I haven't done in YEARS.
Suggestions?

Keep the hair dryer pointed to the joint longer. Like 2 mins, then use a screw driver to help separate. Tried that. I even tried using an allen wrench to push the peg through...

Heat the back of the knee. Diagram I drew out at work: Heat it more then. Don't wanna be a douche, but this is a very simple switch. You should practice.

Wow.
You think I haven't done part switching before? I used to customize Marvel Legends years ago. Been there done that.
I just wanted input on how to get the peg through, because it appears that there is a 'catch' on the peg, and it's keeping it from passing through.
But hey, you forgot to color your picture.

Dude takes time out of his day to draw a diagram specifically for YOU and then you act all offended? Geez....sorry he tried helping, but you obviously know better. Been there, done that right? I mean that's why you asked for help in the first place right?

I mean that's why you asked for help in the first place right? Thanks for your input. Douchbagness noted. He didn't know what I was originally asking, and we moved the conversation to PMs. Edited: As I suspected, the pegs come to 'T' at each end. With thighs like on HBJ, I found that the 'boil & pop' method works much faster. Never came across a pin like that before, hence why I was having so much trouble trying to push it out. And yes, thanks to Alakdan; might I suggest you keep that drawing on your computer for future reference? You never know when someone new to customizing will need it.

Head ideas? For a Mattel figure, doesn't have to be a Mattel head if it works okay on a Mattel body. Thank you.
