Anyone know if clear nail polish works for removing logos off of tights on Elites??? clear nail polish works great man, especially with taking tattoos or logos off the harder plastic parts like the torso and groin area. Its less harsh than Acetone or Nail polish remover and it takes more layers to get it done but the end product looks much nicer imo. |

Hey guys, just want to say I'm not new to making customs at all. It's just I've only just begun to collect Mattels and don't have a clue what parts/figures are out there in terms of body sizes and stuff. So I am totally at your mercy and superior knowledge. I am looking to do a few Attitude Era and late 90s WCW customs. First I want to tackle is Lex Luger, like from this time period:  So I noticed that the Sycho Sid elite has the exact same upper body as the Lugers that have been released, which would be perfect because Sid is cheap and easy to find. In fact, I noticed that the only thing that is different to the Lex Express Luger body is the lower legs. Sid's too tall, so where could I get the correct height lower legs to swap onto him? Someone said Triple H elite, but don't have a cheap option right now for him because they're all quite expensive everywhere I look. Also need a Luger head, whether it's a pony tail WCW figure or a WWE Elite one (wrong hair, but will do fine). Thanks for any help. Luger looks huge there, maybe the new Batista torso would work because it has a squarish silhouette, but sounds like you got it figured out. Believe it or not, the old Batista Elite thighs are actually pretty short, so you can lose some height that way (it also has the same torso as Sid/TripleH/etc). Also one of the 4Horsemen box set figs has short calves, I'll have to get back to you on which one though. |

My suggestion? Time to take Big E's boots, cut off the pegs, and do a little drill work to make your own peg holes! Why waste a good resource just 'cause Mattel can't standardize parts? Or make the peg holes in Bruno bigger! |

Not fully complete - but this is a custom Ahmed Johnson next to one of his notable rivals – Farooq. I used an Ezekiel Jackson body and swapped the boots (Kozlov) and head (Jakks BCA Ahmed), using some tape to alter the ring attire some (I don't paint as of yet).  |

Just a head swap and added a shirt (both Jakks) to a Basic Mattel Taker. The shirt fits a little ackwardly.  |

Humble beginnings. Just finished putting the parts together for my two latest customs - Will Ospreay & Zack Sabre Jr  Not happy with how the head is sitting on ospreay so will need to lower that. Ive sliced off the hair on both heads ready for modding, now just removing the logos from trunks + boots |

Anyone here know what kind of paint or spray paint would bond well to rubber? I'm trying to repaint the rubber turnbuckles on a elite scale ring to red and want to also repaint the ringposts to black? Any suggestions or tips? I ask because rubber and acrylics bond differently than plastics and acrylics.

I looked at a BCA Wild Man Mero head and it is a bit too small and would need to be modified to fit on the neck better. |

Here's a few figures i've been working on.  Left to right we've got Pete Dunne, Zach Sabre Jr + Will Ospreay. Pete needs hair + logos still. Will needs stubble + logos. ZSJ just needs logos. And of course they all need cleaning up a little! |
