Ok, so I'm wondering. What do you guys think? Do you appreciate a custom that has a single layered skin tone and fits into your collection or a multi-layered skin tone( wash/dry brush) that might not fit in with your collection but looks really cool? personally i like all my customs to look like the ones from the Jakks/Mattel factories. so i always use a one-color skintone, no washing or dry brushing or anything like that. |

Do you guys think an Elite Edge head (Not sure what series (often used for Chris Hero) would work alright for a James Storm? I still wanna add some Tag-Teams to my collection.
Also, any idea for a Bobby Roode?

need an idea for a da super dragon , i saw CMD's custom and thought of using hbk da torso (one with shirt) da matt striker arms and pants . What would be a good head to sculpt with ? also i need to know how to rib crack da figs , thanks

I wanted to show off new Mattel-sized "surfer" Sting heads I received (generously) from Helsinkihellraiser (a.k.a. GateCitySinner). These heads are magnificent! I've cast a few heads in my time, and these are unparalleled. Thank you, again, GCS for the unbelievable gift!  |

That's a real shame Jay. It could be cause of all the talk of Brock possibly getting a figure down the line due to his recent agreement with WWE. Considering how simple head & boot swap customs of Brock once sold for absurd amounts of money, its a shame to see yours (which stands out a bit more due to the parts) go for a fairly average sum.
Those Sting heads look fantastic. Really wish I could get some of the shrunken heads Gate has done recently.

So, I'm a little pissed that somebody is gonna win my Mattel Brock for $26.00, sux... That sucks. Your Brock is amazing. I think it's the playability issue, and also a basic. Try putting the head on an elite HHH and paint the head to match the skin. Alot of people are doing fix ups now, and I feel they don't really care if the figures head matches too much. There have been a bunch of Hogan's like that. |

I think the 2nd Mattel Cody scan could work well for Mondo if you mod the hair. Even the first scan is good, but the 2nd one has those "crazy eyes" going on for it.

A quick Google search will show you pics of his first scan if you haven't seen it. The head is used on a majority of his Basic figures, as well as his first Elite.

^^ We're on the same page, man ;D I'm actually working on a Sin Cara as well (but far from completion).  The thing is, this was suppose to be a Sin Cara Negro, but I've been hesitant to move forward since his unmasking. I think it would be pointless to make Negro now. So, I might just go with Azul. What do you guys think? |
