My current project, Tamina Snuka. Yes, there is a ponytail. She'll also have her vest.

What is the best paint to use? I have a pretty easy custom to make but I don't want the paint to chip. I play with my figures in a realistic way so I don't ever smash or slam them hard. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know which Elite has a skin tone that matches with the Primo and Epico Battle Pack and also the basic Carlito with the goatee? Since people seem to ignore this post.

I can't think of any Elites with that body type. If you're cool with their heads on the Rock's torso though... I think your best bet is either to wait for the Los Matadors Elites or mix paint. Just realized Carlito never got an Elite...damn it...

Any suggestions? Depending on costs? I use a paint i bought for 60c from Target. It's Apple Barrel and you can find it in the hobbies/crafts section, it's really good paint for figures. You also want to make sure you paint everything on the figure and then seal it with a sealer. I got mine from Target too! It's a sealer by PLAID co. :-) I used these to make my Executioner Custom which you can find here: The Executioner - England

Since i started collecting 90s Hasbro WWF figures in 2014 one thing i was worried about was what do i do when i've purchased them all? I looked online at ebay and facebook on groups for customs, met some awesome new buddies this way. Loads of customizers actually prefer to make unmade characters in the Hasbro design (so i guess they can have something extra to look good next to their Hasbros). Unmade characters like: Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock, Kane + Mankind. you get the idea. I probably will go this route or at least have one of my friends make me one, he made an awesome Jimmy Snuka repaint which i won recently from ebay too. So i'd decided back in September i wanted to make my own Federation to run alongside the WWF. I've named it * (Turnbuckle Wrestling Federation) and the first series is going to be: Series 1- Chaingang
- 'Stylish Irish' Danny McGee
- Geronimo Guillotine
- HangMan
- Lance Dewlock
- 'Malibu' Mike Swanson
- Sheikh Sharjah
- The Executioner
Series 2 is going to be focused on Luchadores wrestling while series 3 will be onto Muscle + Power Men. I already made The Executioner. You can see his thread here: The Executioner (*)Here is a sketch showing the characters: I am also enclosing a latest photo as i managed to acquire all the parts needed to make a Series 1. last night i painted the pants on HangMan and done some more work on Lance Dewlock. That's my update for now. I will have more in the next few days please go and visit www.facebook.com/rawnostalgia and give the page a like, that is where most of my updates are posted. RAW

How many coats? etc. And its playable after that? Thanks

yeah clear acrylic sealer is what you want, shouldn't cost any more than $10.
follow the instructions on the can, you want a light misting of the figure front and back and leave it completely for 24 hours.
if done properly you can play with the figure. :-)

Hi guys.. anyone have any tips/tutorials how to mix skintone colour? I can't seem to get it right. Thanks in advance. Depends on what kind of skin tone? do you want it to be a tanned skin like a Mr.Perfect where it is more Pinky/Orange? Do you want it pale, like Sheamus? Or are you looking for a tone that is more bronzed? If you want a peach/pinky/orange like Mr.Perfect you need a couple of Paints, White, Orange and Pink. If you want Pale, you will need white + Pink along with a small amount of mocha. If you want a bronzed tone you'll need a white, gold and mocha combination. I always cut the bottom half of a bottle open and use that as the mixing dish, start with white and add in the others, measure in half teaspoons or similar amounts depending on how much you need.

My 3rd Hasbro Custom Lance Dewlock is almost finished. Today I added the blue triangle + horizontal triangles to the wrestling tights. So he is ready for spraying with sealer. I'll be posting a photo tomorrow hopefully. RAW

So for white i can try mixing white pink n orange Tan: white gold and mocha Orange: white orange n mocha? Pretty Much, if you're stateside i would suggest trying Apple Barrel paints, that is what i use. For the pale skin tone (Sheamus) get Apple Barrel Light Mocha, painting the figure with light mocha will give you this color seen on my executioner custom No mixing of paint and the best part is they are under $1 each one. You can get them at Walmarts! If you want a similar color but bronzier just add a little more gold/yellow to it. If you want a bright mr perfect style tan (like the pink + orange) then i would suggest the Tropic Orange. That's the one i used on my Lance Dewlock custom and it is very close to Hasbro's Mr.Perfect Tan! If you want a Roman Reigns darker bronze tan then i would suggest Americana Honey Brown, that's the one i used for HangMan You can get Americana or Folkart Paints from Michaels stores. So the Paints again would be: Apple Barrel: Light Mocha (Sheamus) British Isles Pale Skin Apple Barrel: Tropic Orange (Mr Perfect/Dolph Ziggler) Americana: Honey Brown (Roman Reigns Bronze/Brown Tan) Buying these 3 is less than $5 and would give you those 3 skin tones without having to mess about mixing your own. I might do a tutorial on this on my channel because i know lots of people struggle with skin tones.

I'm living in the other side of the world.. the most accessible brand would be tamiya. If i come a cross apple barrel i'll surely give it a try. Anyways we refer to mr.p skin tones differently. Lol. In mattel world his tone is like any other white guy; piper, ect.
