well, that figure doesn't cost $32, thats what you chose to pay, and its an action figure, it happens. This isn't anything Mattel specific, its happened on Hasbro, Jakks, Toybiz, all of them.

Yeah the loose joints is a major issue. I didn't mind them as much when they had the stands but now without stands they just fall over.

Thats not Mattel's fault. Thats called action figures. Ive had figures from Jakks, Hasbro, Toybiz, and many other companies that will have a loose arm or loose foot. Seriously, people need to quit whining about everything and assume because you get a figure that's not 100% absolutely perfect, that you need something in return.
Not only that Bill is over the DESIGN TEAM!!!! Not quality control, not shipping or packaging or anything else DESIGN TEAM.

For loose ankle joints, just put a dab of crazy glue and rotate it back and forth while it is drying. It should add some resistance to the ankle.
As far as any other body part, look for the same figure in stores and try to get an even exchange after you buy it.

AMEN! I have several Elites (mainly Elite collector) with LOOSE joints. Just to name a few Elites:
-ALL Undertaker's ankles -E8 Sheamus ankles -E3 Shawn Michaels' ankles -E9 Miz's ankles -AllStars Randy Orton ankles -E2 R-Truth legs/hips -E2 Batista ankles

I honestly have been lucky and never really had any loose joints other than the ankles. It so annoying when you walk into a room and see ur figs lying on the floor cuz a fig with loose ankle joints fell over and knocked everything down.
Idk about you guys but a good majority of the loose ankle figs have been Defining Moments figures.

I must be really good at standing them because I can get mine that have loose ankles to say up without stands....
I had a Drew Mcintyre with a loose torso, same with Bob Orton and a loose left arm on Piper Elite. I think the arms and torso's are the worst to get loose.
I dont think its a major problem and Im not sure Mattel can really do anything they are mass produced after all.
Got a new Drew and Orton on classifieds

If it was a problem on ALL Elite figures then it would be a design thing (since its the design of the figure) but Ive got 40 Legends sitting on my shelf right now with scattered Elites and none of them have any loose joint problems.

That's mass produced action figures for ya -- there's bound to be some problems here and there. However, Mattel's joints are some of the best I've encountered on super articulated action figures. Some Marvel Legends had joints that didn't even work. Imagine getting the brand new Elite 11 Punk and half the joints wont even budge. DCUC figures have had tons of problems with quality control. Imagine one wave of elite figures is perfect and the very next feels like a different plastic was used. The quality of Mattel's WWE figures is VERY good compared various other lines.

For the guys saying 'get over it, it's only a figure'... well that's beside the point!... YES Mattel have been great so far and have done a lot in the short time they have had the deal BUT it is very annoying getting a figure with loose ankle joints (like a lot of you have experienced also) I have had quite a few like it and in this country you can't call up to get a voucher and you can't keep taking loads of figures back to the store with the same problem. The latest one to have it in my collection is E9 Orton, the ankle looks ready to fall off. I just HOPE they sort this out soon and work out why it keeps happening, it's my only fault with them.

i like the figures with the loose joints, makes them more movable. the only joint i absolutely hate being loose is the ankle joints.

all the whining on this board is getting pretty pathetic. show me a toy company that never has loose or stiff joints then we'll talk.

Pritty much sums it up. Mr 450 I do feel you in the UK (as I'm here too ;D) but thats what happens with figure collecting Im not saying its good like I said Ive had problems too but I do collect other lines and WWE figures really do good quality wise. Unless I'm really lucky.....But I do have every Elite (apart from 11), Legend and DM and only 4 with problems (1- paint, 2 - loose torso, 1 - loose arm)

all the whining on this board is getting pretty pathetic. show me a toy company that never has loose or stiff joints then we'll talk. AMEN! people forget these are toys, and mattel are catering to the collectors ASWELL! as the kids who buy these. people flammed jakks because they're quality went down, and some were inexcusable, but jakks never painted belts unless it was an exclusive, no-one had a reason to moan, but now mattel 'spoilt' or 'teased' you with vac-shined and painted belts in they're first release... now when they're making plain belts people are moaning if you collect you should already have the nice belt so whats the problem? and when people moan about the basic-4 pack, its a basic series and people are moaning about basic belts all in all people have been spoilt a bit and are expecting too much from a toy company, and loose joints happen with all figures i have an RA sabu with loose feet but it doesnt bother me unless he falls over which is rare..... and many other toys have loose joints aswell....
