I'd love to ref. I'm on the short side- 5'7", so even if I drop everything and devote my life to being a wrestler, I wouldn't go far (I'm not having a negative attitude about it, either). I'm sure I'd be a good ref since most of the wreslters would be taller than me, though. Just throwing it out there, but I'm 6'1 and I had about 4-5 inches over almost the whole ROH roster when I was standing at the isle, I mean I could see clear over most their heads even with their boots on. I've been working out all summer and hoping that I can get up to 215 lbs by early next summer, I decided if I can get there then I'm going to transfer colleges to Florida and go to wrestling school. I figure its worth giving a shot, I'll be finishing school at the same time though as my backup plan

People who list their height as an excuse just want some kind of reassurance they can reach their dream. It doesn't matter if you are 5'6, 5'8, whatever, just follow your dream. It just really makes me mad when people say "well I wouldn't go far, considering my height". That's just an excuse.

It's no secret that most of WWE's top guys are taller. That's something that would worry someone who wants to become a wrestler. I know I don't want to be stuck in the mid-card because I'm not tall enough. But, I'm 6'0". I think I'll be good. I really want to go to the ROH Factory. But, just for the sake of discussion, what wrestling school are some of you guys wanting to go to?

I was trained at a local place about two years ago. I've only been in two matches in front of a crowd as the promotion stopped running shows shortly after I finished my training. I've had about a dozen or so matches at the training workouts. All so much fun. I've been trying to get booked at other places but its hard because I don't have a good match to show on tape. And about the size deal... I'm 5'10'', 170 on a good day, and I use it to my advantage. I refuse to let my lack of size hold me back. Everyone always said I'm too small and don't have the right "look" but if I go out and get an opportunity to show what I could do in that ring, I'll impress alot of people who weren't expecting much. Anyone know anywhere in the tri-state area that is looking to book? haha If I could get a real shot anywhere I'd be pumped. The whole college thing has me tied up here for the next year, until I move to State College to finish my last two years. Maybe there will be something down there..

I'm thinking about joining a local fed and training with them. Firstly, I gotta start body building though, I've been doing it for a bit now, but I gotta get into it more seriously though. I'm like 5'9-5'10 and still have some growing left, so hopefully I'm 6 foot something, and I get big. I'll have a backup too, and I'm an artist.
But as for the question, I've only done High School Wrestling for Two Seasons. I loved it, except the second year, someone fractured my wrist and then people stopped showing up to the practice and the team folded. So no Pro Wrestling matches yet for me, hopefully I will do it soon though!

If youre not over 6 feet, youre taking a gamble getting in the business. If youre under 5'7'', then you better be one gifted ring technitian AND a god of the mic or else you have nearly no chance. And yet if youre 6'7" and built, it doesnt matter if you can spell WWE.. you can get a shot. As far as I go, I wrestle for just one company and am a current champ. Its definitely the most fun and Im looking forward to move on but I sadly cant give wrestling 100% of my dedication because I have a job and bills that I cant neglect, but im still young and have time.

One time I wrestled with a pair of overalls. I got them on one shoulder, and then when I went to put them on the other shoulder they got stuck...... too small..... but I was stuck in them.
Long struggle to get them off.
I ended up ripping them in order to get them off.
