I was just watching some classic matches back in 2001. I've always been a huge Chris Jericho fan and I have his Entrance Greats figure. I love it! But I see a severe lack of Jericho figures outside of the EG and his modern Elite figure. Has there been any mention of doing a Defining Moments Jericho with the World Heavyweight Title and the WWE Heavyweight Belt (pre-undisputed redesign). With the upcoming two belts packaging of DM Cena, I have to say a DM Jericho would be an awesome idea. And ideally Jericho would have his hair in a red tipped pontytail! Make it so Matty!! He's not signed with the WWE right now so I don't think he has the rights for a figure.
I would love to see a Chris Jericho Defining Moments figure like you've described. That was his defining moment and I think it would sell great. I think his EG flopped because it was basic. He's not even the worst seller from the releases, Piper is clogging up shelves everywhere.

That's a great idea for a DM Jericho. Either that or his 07 return. I think we will get one eventually. I'd rather get others first though.

Ive been saying this for a while. We need a defining moments Jericho. The only problem is that he wore so many great attires.

What exactly are the rules to creating a figure based on a wrestler? I mean, have any Legends been made for wrestlers that have passed away? I don't know a lot of the wrestlers in the Legends line, so I'm not sure if that is a stupid question. But guys like Cowboy Bob Orton, Kamala, Jake the Snake, Iron Sheik...are they all still around? Do they have a contract with WWE?
Just curious since I don't believe Jericho is actually wrestling anywhere else. I hope that is good enough to be able to make a DM figure for him.

awesome idea.. i would prefer y2j DM with the odd facial hair, and the wwf attitude era title & the wcw world title ( he was the first to hold both belts / unify them) those baby blue tights with the matching short sleeve entrance shirt
and then a Mick Foley DM would be perfect! removable mankind mask, one brown mankind shirt, one cheap white dress shrirt w/ tie, and Mr. Socko! and hopefully a steel chair! and the WWF attitude er belt and or the hardcore title

TheNewbieWHAT Im sure you'll get a better answer than this, but from what I know theres 3 ways Im pretty sure to be able to get a figure from Mattel. If they are signed to another company then their contract most likely would not allow them to sign with Mattel for a WWE figure. Jericho isn't wrestling right now anywhere though. 1. Be currently signed to WWE in some way, either as a wrestler or even a backstage role. 2. Be signed to a WWE contract for merchandising after you are retired. I don't know the details of this 3. Sign with Mattel so they can make your figure, it also has to be approved by WWE. In the case of dead wrestlers, their families or whoever has the rights to their name can sign a contract for them. Most wrestlers seem to be very happy to have a legends figure made, and most families seem to want them made also, its basically free money for them from the royalties. Owen Harts wife is the notable exception, and theres rumors that others have wanted more money. And any wrestlers that died after killing their family also wont be made. Hope this explains it alright

A DM figure of him the night he became Undisputed champ would be a dream come true He wore pretty plain black tights that night and not even an entrance t-shirt. It'd just be a figure in plain black tights with two belts. Better suited to the Flashback series than a Defining Moment. If I had to pick a Defining Moments Jericho, I'd go with WrestleMania X8. The nifty green tights, the two belts, and the fancy entrance shirt. But Mattel has said they're not going to do one because his other figures weren't big sellers.

I just finished this and I love the results. "After weeks and weeks of research I finally found out from a reliable source that Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero were very close friends and Chis actually traded Eddie some boots for the tights that the L6 Eddie figure has on. So I did this fix-up based on that information."Sweet mother of god, I want that.

That looks great!
The only way we will get two belts is if they released it as a DM but if he comes out with a flashback and only 1 belt, I'm not complaining at all!
