*Note: Priot to Bound For Glory, it was announced that TNA would no longer be using the NWA Championships, and instead forging ahead with their own belts, to further establish their own identity. Looks good. But Sting not winning the NWA Heavyweight Championship hurts the show so much, you can't imagine.
They'd built this rivalry up for months, or even years. Sting HAD to win it to avoid looking stupid. Bad decision with that main event.

why does it say sting is champion when in the results jeff wiins That was a typo, thanks. And I know it hurts things a bit, but Sting is going to be gone in two months diary time, didn't want to put the strap in him at this point in time. Things will recover.

TNA's championships back in 2006 were with the NWA (besides the X-Division), did you create their own championships? Also, I hope you have some way to explain how Sting will stick around when the match was Career vs. Title.
Good luck.

October 26, 2006 Sting comes out to open Impact, looking very sullen. When he gets into the ring, he says that he agreed to the Bound For Glory match with Jeff Jarrett being Title vs. Career because he knew he could beat Jeff Jarrett. Sting said that he still stands by that. Sting says the reason he lost at Bound For Glory, was because of Kurt Angle. A guest enforcer who had no place being there, a man who had nothing to do with the match, and that Angle's poor judgment screwed Sting, and now is resulting in the end of his career. Sting then called out TNA Director of Authority, Jim Cornette. Cornette said that he didn't want to have to get rid of Sting, but a deal was a deal. Sting said that he had no problem riding out into the sunset, but not like that. Sting said he wanted one more match, and he wanted Kurt Angle. Cornette said the only way he could make that match is if Kurt agreed and signed a contract for it. Sting said Cornette needed to make it happen. Cornette asked him or what, and Sting just laughed, and left.Eric Young vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks Decent opening contest, Young was still really pumped from his victory at Bound for Glory, but Roode managed to control most of the match. However, the crowd began cheering for Young to get back into the match, and Roode got frustrated, and freaked out at the crowd for supporting Young so much. This allowed Young to take advantage of the distraction and hit a piledriver to win. Winner: Eric YoungTNA's newest aquisition, Kurt Angle comes down to the ring, microphone in hand. Angle starts off by saying that what he did at Bound For Glory, grabbing the guitar from Sting, was the right thing to do. The fans may not realize that, and Sting may not realize that. But if Sting would have used that guitar, he would have been no better than Jeff Jarrett was. His victory would have been tainted, and it would be meaningless. So he stood by his decision. Angle then addressed Sting's request from a little while ago. He said he would NOT agree to a match with Sting. Sting made his bed, and now, he slept in it. Angle wasn't about to waste his time on a retired superstar. Now, onto business. Angle said that next week, he would be making his in ring debut in TNA, and he was scheduled to face Ron "The Truth" Killings, a former NWA Champion. Angle said that was all fine and dandy, but he needed an opponent for Genesis on PPV. Angle said after he beat Killings, he was going to call someone out.Brother Ray vs Chris HarrisThis was a really, really short match, but really stiff as well, Ray looked he was trying to kill Harris, but the wildcat stuck in there, but the match went to the outside, and once Harris began getting an advantage, Devon ran out and attakced him, and then James Storm ran out as wll, and a huge brawl broke out through the crowd. The ref through this out as a No Contest. No Contest Due to Interference on Both SidesJim Cornette is in his office, and speaking to the crowd. He announced that at Genesis on November 19th, two championship rematches would take place. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels would take on LAX for the TNA Tag Team Titles, and Low Ki would get his rematch with Chris Sabin for the X Division Title. Suddenly, Christian Cage bursts into the office, yelling about how he isn't featured on the show tonight, after he demolished Rhino at Bound for Glory, proving he was the most hardcore man in TNA! Cornette smiled, and asked Christian if he really thought of himself as the most hardcore man in TNA? Christian said he did, and Cornette said that if that was the case, he had a match for him next week, so he could prove that claim. We see ina locker room quickly, Kevin Nash and Austin Starr hanging out. The two begin trash talking Alex Shelley, saying how he is nowhere near as good as Starr, and that Shelley is just a waste of time. The camera pans out to show Alex Shelley listening on the other side of the door, hearing every word.AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels & Chris Sabin vs. LAX & Low KiA Really good main event here, with lots of quick tags so everyone got some in ring action. Styles and Daniels really wanted to get a piece of LAX, who tried to avoid it where possible. The end came when Low Ki, who had been beaten up for several minutes, tried to make a tag, and Homicide and Hernandez dropped off the apron and left him. Low Ki suffered a cradle shock to be pinned by Sabin. Winners: Styles, Daniels and SabinJeff Jarrett walked down to the ring, TNA Championship over his shoulder, and he grabbed a mic. He demanded to know who his challenger at Genesis would be, right this moment. Jarrett said he's beaten everyone that has stepped up, and that no matter who his opponent was, he was going to walk all over them and keep the title. Jim Cornette stepped out onto the stage. He said he was sick of Jarrett holding the gold and thinking he ran this show, and that at Gensis, his opponent would wipe that smirk off his face. Cornette stepped aside, and out came Samoa Joe. Jarrett got an "oh shit" look on his face, as Joe ran down to the ring. Jarrett got out of the ring and ran through the crowd, not wanting any of Joe, as the crowd chanting for Samoa Joe to show.November 19, 2006 The Card Thusfar. . .TNA Championship Title vs. Undefeated StreakJeff Jarrett (c) vs. Samoa Joe TNA Tag Team ChampionshipsLAX (c) vs. Chrisopher Daniels & AJ Styles X-Division ChampionshipChris Sabin (c) vs. Low Ki

November 2, 2006 Christian Cage vs. RavenChristian came out first, and the crowd exploded when Raven came out, and Christian looked shocked. Christian had the upper hand from the beginning, but Raven didn't come to wrestle, he came to kick some ass. Raven low blowed Cage, getting DQed, and then hit a raven effect on a chair, leaving Christian lying, making remarks wondering if Cage still though he was the most hardcore guy here. Winner: Christian CageRobert Roode and Ms. Brooks were backstage with Jeremy Borash. Roode said last week, Eric Young got lucky, and that Roode would stay more focused the next time. Roode issued a challenge for Young to face off with him again at Genesis.America's Most Wanted were in Jim Cornette's office, and they were in the process of demanding a match with Team 3D, when suddenly, Ray and Devon flew into the room attacking them. team 3D beat them down, then Ray told Cornette to go ahead and make the damn match, because the result would be the same as this beatdown.Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles vs Alex Shelley & Austin Starr w/ Kevin NashGood match, unfortunately, because of how much stuff is on this show, didn't get the time it deserved, but 5 minutes from these guys is still gold. But at the end of the match, the crowd got exactly what they wanted, when Shelley kicked Starr right in the nuts, and hit a sliced bread on him. Nash stormed the ring going after Shelley, but Shelley got out of there quick enough to avoid him. Spiral tap from AJ, and they pinned Starr. Winners: Styles & DanielsHowever, post match, Homicide and Hernandez stormed the ring, laying out Styles and Daniels, and then posed with their title belts, laughing. as the crowd showered them with boos, someone even throwing a can of beer at them.Chris Sabin vs Jerelle ClarkTotal quick squash, just to put over Sabin here. Low Ki watched the match from the entrance ramp, and when it came time to end it, Sabin motioned that this was Low Ki's fate, and he hit the cradle shock for the pin. Winner: Chris SabinJeff Jarrett is being interviewed backstage. He says that he would have ended Joe's streak at No Surrender if it wasn't for the ridiculous Fan's Revenge bullshit, and he declared he would walk away from Genesis champion, one way or another. At this point, Samoa Joe walked up to him, and said he hoped Jarrett wasn't thinking of getting himself DQed or counted out, because he just came from Cornett'e office, and if Joe wins at Genesis, no matter how, he would be declared champion. Jarrett snarled, and said that next week, he was bringing in an old friend to face Joe on Impact, and there wouldn't be a streak left for Jarrett to end at Genesis.Kurt Angle vs. Ron KillingsPretty good match, considering there's nothing for Ron to do at the moment but float around in obscurity, Angle made him look really good, both men sold each move well, and made each other look strong. But in the end, everyone knew what would happen. Killings went for an axe kick, but Angle stood up to avoid it, and hit an olympic slam for the three Winner: Kurt AngleAfter the win, Angle grabbed a mic, and said he came to TNA to conquer new territory, and face the best, the new blood, not old farts like Sting. Angle said there was someone he had his eyes on, someone who won at Bound For Glory, and carries himself around like the ultimate badass. Angle then challenged Abyss to a match at Genesis, saying he was gonna make him tap like a little bitch, and that he should get his ass out here now to show what he's made of. Abyss stepped out onto the stage, and ran down the ramp and got into the ring, and him and Angle traded shots, but Abyss got the upper hand, and black hole slammed Angle, and stood tall to end the show.

-Sting will be retiring at the end of the year, as he has decided not to renew his contract with TNA. This is why he wasn't given the championship at Bound For Glory, as TNA didn't see the benefit of giving their title to someone who was leaving in two months. Sting's final match will be against Kurt Angle, as both him and Angle asked for it. -The Naturals will be gone from TNA until early 2007, as they were given an offer to do a tour of Japan, which, due to the influx of tag teams at the moment, TNA allowed them to take. -BG James, Kip James, and Shark Boy were released from TNA on BFG weekend. There was bad blood between Kip and BG and Team 3D. Team 3D are extremely dedicated to the company right now, so there was no chance in hell of them being cut

November 9, 2006 Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks vs. A1Not a bad way to start off the show, this was clearly just to put Roode over, as most of the crowd don't even remember who A1 is, but he's a bigger guy, so when Roode made short work of him, it was impressive. He finished A1 off with a lariat to the back of the neck. Winner: Robert RoodeRaven comes down to the ring, and after the crowd dies down, says that if Christian Cage wants to prove he is the most hardcore man in TNA, he'd have to go through him at Genesis in a hardcore match. Christian walked down the ramp, but not getting into the ring, and started taunting Raven on the mic, before accepting the challenge. Raven challenged Christian to get in the ring now and dance, but as Raven was focused on Christian, Tomko came through the crowd and got into the ring behind Raven, attacking him. Cage jumped in, and the two of them left Raven laying after a bad beatdown.Low Ki vs. Alex ShelleyReally good bout, as both guys got to show their stuff, Shelley in particular was on fire, and he seemed to have a counter for almost everything Low Ki had, but what Ki hit was so stiff it wasn't even funny. But eventually, Austin Starr ran down, and tried to get involved, but the referee got out of the ring, and intercepted him. This allowed Kevin Nash to come in through the crowd, and he jack knifed Shelley straight to hell, and then got out of dodge, allowing Low Ki to get the victory. Winner: Low KiJames Mitchell comes down to the ring with Abyss, and begins to address the crowd on that match at Genesis between Abyss and Kurt Angle. He says that Abyss is simply too powerful for Angle to defeat, but before he gets fully into it, Angle runs into the ring with a steel chair, and level's Abyss across the head several times, before clotheslining him out on the ring. Angle then locks Mitchell in an ankle lock, screaming at him, before finally getting out of the ring once Abyss recovered. Angle walks back up the ramp, smiling.Jim Cornette is backstage, and he says he has a few announcements regarding Genesis. Firstly, he is making Alex Shelley vs Austin Starr official for the event. Secondly, he says that he doesn't believe a one fall to a finish match fits for the Tag Team Championship bout, as one fall wouldn't settle things. So as of now, LAX vs Styles and Daniels would be a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match.AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels & AMW vs. LAX & Team 3DThis was shorter than you'd guess, due to time, but it worked. Immediately, 3D and AMW broke into a brawl and fought into the crowd, away from the match, leaving the Genesis opponents. The two teams went at it for a bit, but Styles and Daniels were too fired up, and eventually, Homicide just low blowed Daniels, getting themselves DQed. Then LAX tried to do a post match beatdown, but Styles got the upper hand on Hernandez, leaving him laying against the ropes. Homicide turned his attention on AJ, running at him, but Styles moved, and Homicide crashed into his own partner, sending them tumbled to the floor. Daniels recovered, and him and Styles hit a double suicide dive on LAX, and then they celebrated with the crowd. Winners: Styles, Daniels & AMWMs. Brooks and Eric Young bump into each other backstage. Brooks asks Young if he accepted Roode's challenge for Genesis, and Young replied that he did, and then he spanked Brooks and walked off, causing her to gasp, and look shocked. Young laughed as he walked off.Samoa Joe vs Monty BrownSo Jarrett's surprise was revealed, and it was a tough opponent, someone able ot match Joe in strength. Jarrett sat ringside for the match, and it was pretty competitive, Brown was fired up, and he took control early on, the thing being, is Brown is quick and agile, from his football background. But eventually, Joe got a big move, as he was in the corner, and Brown tried to splash him, Joe caught him and slammed him down. Eventually, Brown would go for the pounce, but Joe ducked under him and grabbed him into the clutch, making him tap. Winner: Samoa JoeJarrett rushed the ring with his guitar after the match, and tried to smash it over Joe's head, but Joe caught the guitar with his hands, wrenched it from Jarrett's grip, and then leveled him with it. Joe left the ring, leaving Jarrett in a pike of broken wood.November 19, 2006 TNA Championship Title vs. Undefeated StreakJeff Jarrett (c) vs. Samoa Joe Kurt Angle vs. Abyss TNA Tag Team Championship 2 Out of 3 FallsLAX (c) vs. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels Hardcore MatchChristian Cage vs. Raven X-Division ChampionshipChris Sabin (c) vs. Low Ki Alex Shelley vs. Austin Starr Team 3D vs. America's Most Wanted Eric Young vs. Robert Roode

November 16. 2006 LAX open the show by coming to the ring. They say they are sick and tired of having their success and dominance put down by everyone, and it was time to have the biggest culprit tought a lesson. At that, Hernandez went to the announce table, and forced Mike Tenay to come into the ring. Homicide said that he bashed them week in and week out, and never said a single positive thing, and that if he didn't want to get hurt, he needed to apologize right now. After a few moments, Tenay quietly apologized, and after that, the two began to beat down Tenay anyways. Styles & Daniels ran down to make the save, making LAX run off.Low Ki vs. Sonjay DuttA great X division match to start off the show, as both Low Ki and Sabin had matches tonight to try to build momentum for Genesis on Sunday. Dutt made a lot of trouble early, but Ki caught him coming off the top with a dropkick and then hit the stomp to win. Winner: Low KiChris Sabin vs. Elix SkipperSabin comes out for his match, and Ki stays out to watch the bout. Sabin is facing one of Low Ki's former partners. Skipper doesn't seem to be on his game tonight though, as Sabin actually makes pretty short work of him, finishing him with a cradle shock. After the win, Sabin and Low Ki stare at each other, Low Ki motioning he will win back the title. Winner: Chris SabinAlex Shelley comes down to the ring, and he calls out Kevin Nash, saying it's time that Nash finally got what was coming to him. Nash comes down, and gets into the ring, and the two begin to fight. Shelley uses his speed and he avoids every blow Nash throws, and his kicks take Nash down to his knees, but before Shelley can deliver a huge kick to Nash's skull, Austin Starr runs in and attacks Shelley from behind. Nash ends up hitting a jacknife, and Starr hits a 450 splash, leaving Shelley lying prone.Raven vs. TomkoNot much here, as these two don't really mess in a singles match, Tomko owned at the beginning, but Raven started to make a comeback, and he hit the Raven Effect, but before he could make a cover, Christian Cage ran in attacking him, giving Raven the DQ victory. Winner: RavenChristian and Tomko started to beat the holy hell out of Raven, trying to make sure he was unable to make it to the match at Genesis, but Rhino made a surprise return, running to the ring, and immediately goring the crapout of Tomko. Christian high tailed it out of there, and Raven and Rhino stood tall, and the crowd actually gave a little ECW chant to the amusement of some.AMW are backstage, they trash talk Team 3D a bit, and tell them they better bring their A game, because whoever wins the match at Genesis get a tag title shot. Jeff Jarrett vs. AbyssDecent main event, but there wasn't much to it, mostly stalling. Eventually, Kurt Angle came down to ringside, which distracted Abyss, and Jarrett took control. Eventually, Abyss got out of the ring, and went after Angle, and the two of them began to brawl. Jarrett looked on, not caring, until Samoa Joe ran down and made a beeline for him. Jarrett tried to run away, but ran into Angle, who turned around and went after Jarrett. This allowed Abyss to get an upper hand on Angle, and Joe began taking out Jarrett, but Monty Brown ran down, and caught Joe from behind, and Abyss got the upper hand on Angle, and the show ended with both Joe and Angle laid out. No ContestNovember 19, 2006 TNA Championship Title vs. Undefeated StreakJeff Jarrett (c) vs. Samoa Joe Kurt Angle vs. Abyss TNA Tag Team Championship 2 Out of 3 FallsLAX (c) vs. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels Hardcore MatchChristian Cage vs. Raven X-Division ChampionshipChris Sabin (c) vs. Low Ki Alex Shelley vs. Austin Starr Team 3D vs. America's Most Wanted Eric Young vs. Robert Roode

Genesis card looks well stacked, Team 3D vs. AMW could be good, maybe for #1 contendership. Shelley vs. Starr could steal the show. EY vs Roode sounds a bit iffy, but it is the curtain jerker. Christian vs, Raven sounds great, but Idk about the hardcore stipulation. The two title matches are gonna be great! The tag one, for sure. The World one is interesting with Joe's streak on the line.

November 19, 2006 Genesis begins with Mike Tenay and Don West welcoming us to the show, and them running down the card. After a few moments though, Kevin Nash made his way down to the commentary table, and joined them for the opening contest.Alex Shelley vs. Austin StarrGreat way to open the show, with great X division action, in a feud arguably more built than the title match, and between two huge future stars for TNA. Shelley was the crowd favorite by far, and Starr played a great heel. After about fifteen minutes of great back and forth action, that saw both men almost win with their opponents finishers, Shelley finally hit sliced bread #2. But Kevin Nash ran down to the ring, and got up on the apron. This caused the referee to be focused on him, and Starr hit a low blow followed by a brainbuster to get the victory. Winner: Austin StarrAfter the match, Austin Starr and Kevin Nash beat down Shelley something fierce, Nash hitting a jackknife onto the outstretched leg of Starr in a nasty backbreaker, and then a 450 splash to end it.Eric Young vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. BrooksSomeone up there must hate Eric Young, as this was a total squash, to make Roode look like a total badass. Went about five minutes, but could've ended in 2, Roode took his time, to make it known he wasn't one to mess with. Smashed Young's head into the post on the outside, then hit a DDT on the ring steps to bust him open, then rolled him into the ring and got the pin. Winner: Robert RoodeChris Harris is backstage, heading to meet Storm to go out for their match, when suddenly, Team 3D attack him, brutally laying him out, throwing him into a pile of stacked tables, which collapse on top of him, burying him. Team 3D laugh, and head to the ring.Team 3D vs. AMWJames Storm looked puzzled as to why he was alone out there, but didn't have much time to think about it, as it became a fight of survival, as Team 3D were pumped up, and by making frequent tags, they kept themselves fresh, and Storm, despite a valiant attempt, couldn't muster a real comeback. However, it changed when, to the fans delight, Chris Harris came limping through the crowd, and ran up behind Ray, who was on the ropes, and pulled him off to the floor, and leveled him. Devon in the ring noticed and started yelling at Harris, and the referee was looking at the outside chaos. Storm grabbed his beer bottle and smashed it over Devon's head, and got the three count when the referee turned around. Winners: AMWX-Division Championship Chris Sabin (c) vs. Low KiThis was a good match, but the worst these two have put on, and surprisingly, the crowd just wasn't into this one, they liked Sabin a lot, but something about this match just didn't click right. In the end, Low Ki picked up the surprising win with the stomp to regain the X-Division title, which the fans did not like one bit. Winner: Low KiHere it was announced that next month's Turning Point PPV would be taking place live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on December 10, with tickets going on sale tomorrow!Hardcore Match Raven vs. Christian CageThis match was a complete and total cluster , but it worked n a way that the fans enjoyed it. Early on, it was Christian straight up out wrestling Raven, trying to avoid weapons being brought in. Once Raven got a chair in there, he took control. But after a while, Tomko ran down, and a two on one beatdown started, but Rhino made a run in to even the odds. It seemed Raven was about to win, but Giant Bernard ran in, and joined Tomko and Christian. After his interference, Christian was able to scrape a win with an unprettier on a chair. Winner: Christian CageAfter the match, the beatdown continued, with Christian, Tomko, and Bernard getting ready to end the careers of Rhino and Raven. But they were interupted by The Sandman, recently released from his WWE contract, who rushed the ring, singapore cane in hand, and started cleaning house, making the other three run off. Sandman, Raven, and Rhino celebrated, as the crowd chanted ECW.TNA Tag Team Championships 2 Out of 3 Falls Match LAX vs. Fallen PhenomenonThis was match of the night, bar none, it was the longest, and most intense, and this feud has been going on for long enough now the fans are really invested. Early on, LAX manager Konnan tried to interfere, but to the fans delight, number one contenders AMW came out, and whooped his ass and got him away from ringside. It took nearly 20 minutes for the first fall to occur, and it wa Hernandez, catching Styles off a springboard and hitting a sit down powerbomb into a pin. After another ten minutes of action, Homicide hit the gringo killer on Daniels, and LAX actually won two falls to none, cementing them as the dominant tag team to beat in TNA. Winners: LAXKurt Angle vs. AbyssWas a decent match considering, the crowd was very excited to see Angle, although a "You Screwed Sting" chant did break out at one point. Abyss had Angle on the ropes a lot of the match, but Angle would use his abilities to get out of trouble in unique ways. They fought to the outside, and Abyss tossed Angle into the crowd barricade. Abyss charged him, but Angle backdrop him into the crowd, and then pulled Abyss's foot through the bars on the barricade, and locked in an ankle lock there in a great spot. The referee eventually got to the outside himself, and forced Angle to let go. The ref checked on Abyss, and this allowed Sting to jump the barricade and clock Angle in the back of the head with the baseball bat. Sting jumped back into the crowd, and from there, Abyss would hit a black hole slam, and pin Angle. Winner: AbyssTNA World Championship Title vs. Undefeated Streak Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa JoeThe commentators put over the fact that if Jarrett lost by DQ or countout he would also lose the title, which put him in a vulnerable position. In fact, Jarrett almost got himself counted out early after Joe had been laying a beating him, but last second he ran back into the ring. The story of this match was Joe controlled it most of the time, with Jarrett trying to steal a win whereever he could, using dirty tactics. Jarrett managed to gain control when he slammed Joe's leg into the ringpost, and he began working the leg, but Joe was like that, and as Jarrett tried to lock in a figure four, he stepped over Joe's leg, turning his back to him, and Joe lunged up and pulled Jarrett into the clutch! After a few moments, Jarrett tapped, crowning a new champion! Winner: Samoa Joe
