So i decided to catch a ride too Altoona, Pa today with my brother for his doctor appt which is a couple hours from where i live and i was hoping too hit a retail motherload since not being there since feb this year. It's no surprise that i didnt hit that mother load but i did manage a couple pick ups to scratch off my list of wants finally. First stop we hit up toys r us.... NOTHIN!!! i mean they still had tons of Iron Sheiks and Terry Funks from Season forever ago lol I was pretty disappointed and almost bought the Sheik Volkoff 2 pack but decided eff it, i got a few more stores i can hit ill wait. Next stop was K mart. We walk in there, nothin!!! damn my luck is suckin today. Ended up leaving there but not with out buying my bro a TNA Fig Jeff Jarrett which he suckily collects them haha but next stop we hit Walmart and i knew i had to get something here cause i only had target left after this and god knows they ended up havin nothin too haha target that is so at Walmart they had the entire Legends 5 set and a few from 4.
DEMOLITION AX. I been looking for both these for a while but bot wanting too pay $25-$30 each Demolition just to own them lol Seen both in my local k mart before but had too pass them up with saving up money at the time. Finally i got one half of the demolitions and i love it. They were one of my top 5 most wanted figs atm and ax was worth getting at retail finally. I'm hoping to have some luck findin smash now real cheap.
Next up Bam Bam Bigelow. As soon as i walked down the toy aisle in walmart the first one i saw was bigelow thanks to that bright orange over coat he has on but ya know what i liked it. Bigelow never was a big top want of mine amongst other ppl but when i walked down the aisle, bam bam was the first one too catch my eye and i just had too grab him up. He looked awesome MOC and was the first one i picked up to get. I love the detail in this fig with the tattoo's on his head, his body size, his facial features and the choice color of outfit. Everything is real nice.
both pick ups today made me happy i took the trip anyways. Dont think ill be back til around the holidays, but ill prob stick with online orders rather than retail because that could have been a big let down trip in other words i mean going too 4 stores and only one had any new ones is such a risk for ppl driving far these days. Online orders are better for me for sure. Also while at walmart i ran into the infamous title stealing incident.
i just laughed seeing this and told my brother take a pic, its ridiculous ppl cant afford the title they gotta steal it lol this is another retail case that makes me happy i order my figs online and get them early and safe with all accessories included. Also today i ran into Alot of Elite 8 in my area. Lots of Edge and Undertakers and MVP's. Saw a couple Sheamus' one being of the which above, the other did have a championship with it. And a Evan Bourne. So looks like our area is falling behind, we still got Elite 9 too even come in.
