Personally, I would like to see him retire very soon. I've been saying that for 3 fights. There's nothing left. GSP wants less to do with Silva than Mayweather wants to do with the Pac Man. I want Dan Henderson to stay at 205 where, at his age, he belongs. The Mayhem/Bisping winner would be okay I guess, but I like Mayhem and don't want him to suffer brain damage. I guess the Sonnen/Stann winner would be okay, but, really? Eh.
And no, I don't have any interest in seeing him fight Bones Jones.
Obviously we'll take what the UFC gives us, but I'd accept his retirement with open arms and a smile.
He's done it all. Thank you, Anderson, and goodnight.

who's the current DREAM Middleweight champion? Gegard Mousasi? I'd throw a load of money at him if I were the UFC (assuming he isn't under a Strikeforce contract already) and get him to come over for a superfight. Hype it up the same way they did Shields/St Pierre. "He's the top guy from elsewhere.. but he's never faced the best.. He's never faced our champion". Anderson has walked through the UFC Middleweight division, most of the Strikeforce middleweight division (when they were in the UFC), about half of the UFC Light Heavyweight and Welterweight divisions, and a good chunk of Strikeforce's divisions at comparable weight. If St. Pierre wants nothing to do with him, there's not much left.

Dan Henderson at 205 or a top contender at 205. Either way, he's way past the 185 division now.

In all honesty, it should be GSP. The fight makes, or made, so much sense.
But what we will most likely get? Sonnen rematch if he beats Stann or Henderson.

I think it would make most sense to have him face either GSP, or Henderson.

I say do Anderson vs. Shogun on NYE, or Anderson vs. Hendo II on FOX.

Let's see if GSP beats Diaz. If he does, there is basically nothing left for him either, cause Diaz and Shields were both fights that made sense to put GSP in. But if GSP wins, then offer both Anderson and George the chance for the dream fight. If GSP doesn't accept there, he never will, but give SP one more chance to take this fight, just let's see what happens with Diaz first.

ughhh...
Anderson KO'd Vitor submitted Henderson and submitted Sonnen.
the rematches would be pointless. The only one I would be even remotely interested in would be Hendo vs. Silva at 205.

Why at 205? I don't think it really matters as long as Hendo can get down to 185 properly, unlike last time.

cracked ribs or not, a sonnen rematch would still hold some value since sonnen did control until that submission. the only negative would be that it might silence chael for a little while... and nobody wants that.
and if stann runs through sonnen in about a minute and a half, i wouldnt mind stann getting fed to silva either.
and for silva retiring? thats absurd. thats like jordan leaving after winning 3 championships (which we all know was actually because stern was gonna suspend him for gambling, but yea). it would be a nice feel good story for him to go out on top... but since its very evident hes still the best, there would be far too many what ifs for him to retire.
jon jones is an intriguing fight... but its a no win situation for either guy. if jones wins, silva had to go up 20 pounds to meet a younger version of himself [arguably]. if silva wins, a 36 year old just buried the 23 year old potential face of the ufc.
if its not gsp, id just rather silva eat up guy after guy at 185, til one of them shocks him, or he shows visable signs of age.

Well of course, I like how Shields looks at 185 rather than 170, but I'd rather see him at 170.

Realistically, the Sonnen-Stann winner.
But I'd love to see GSP-Silva.

I have a feeling GSP/Silva will end up being MMA's Pacquiao/Mayweather. But here's a nice little c*ck-tease for you either way.

I'd prefer a Silva/Hendo rematch at 205 too... Hendo didn't look "right" at MW against Shields - plus, he's been fighting at LHW and HW recently, so you have to wonder whether he could still make MW and be effective.
