Well before I started to come on this board I would only get divas and all of the Cody Rhodes figures and some Randy ortons. (I get them cuz the are hot lol) so recently I have been getting more so today I went to true and I was up the isle and saw basic 12 they had Evan and John Morrison so I picked them up and then I saw the wrestlemania pegs and they had a sticker that said 8/29 so I asked the girl to check the back so she went back then this fat guy walks up the isle and he looks at the wrestlers then he looks at me and he keeps looking back at me and then he says are u going to get them. So I say I do not know then he just walks to the other end of the isle and then the girl comes back and says the wrestlemania ones sold out this morning. So I said thanks and decided not to get the others so I put them down. Then I see him walking over so I pick them up real fast then go put them up the Barbie isle so he can't get them. Lol thanks for listening!   |

If the sticker said 8/29, that's probably when they put the order in for them. So it's doubtful that they actually sold out, so much as just ordered them. I'd keep checking.

It's possible they sold out. I know at my Walmart whenever they get new shipments of legends in they seem to be gone almost within the same day. All it takes is one guy to buy the ENTIRE set and then sell them on ebay or wherever.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA your awesome bella baby! i would totally do something like that just too piss off scalpers lol good look! that sucks they didnt have those WM27 figs though, my guess is they never had them at all yet and used the old "Sold Out" story on ya.. i would keep checkin back.. I bet this weekend every TRU is gonna get swamped with those 3 WM27 figs!! i hope some pop up on amazon or something, as i dont want too travel 2 hours too my nearest TRU and 2 hours back just a for a Kofi Kingston and Stone Cold haha. That is cool Basic 12 was out though. I however do not collect the basics, only elites, but its great too hear those are hitting shelves already. Think my TRU and shopping district only had Elite 9 and Basic 10 in. Not even all them either. Thanks for sharing the story though.. pretty amusing!! |

I don't know what is worse, Chumlees or Mattel's distribution. They both make my figure experience quite frustrating.
