While I don't dislike DC, the only characters I like are Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Lex Luther, and that's about it. Marvel on the other hand has alot more characters I enjoy.

I'm on the side that reads good stories from every company. This. If you resign yourself to one publisher, you're missing good stories on the other side of the fence.

I used to read just Marvel stuff but after years of faulty X-Men, Hulk, Thor and Spider-Man stories I got very bored with Marvel. I stopped reading Marvel and went to DC which was fine until they went to the "company crossover mega story every year" stuff. I still only regularly read DC books but at least Captain America and the Fantastic Four is somewhat exciting again.

I prefer Marvel. Batman's the only franchise in the DC Universe I care about.

Marvel The only DC titles I read are from the Vertigo imprint. I'll pick up a few trades from other companies if the art/concept looks appealing or were written by someone I enjoy.

I love Batman. That said, I'm more of a Marvel fan than a DC fan. It just so happens that my favorite character is a DC character.

I don't understand people who refuse to read the other. Some people would rather read terrible Marvel stories than good DC, and the opposite. Personally, I prefer to just read the good stories from both, and I come out the winner.

I find myself gravitating to DC stuff, but it's all old school DC stuff. I found an archive that has all the DC crisis stories from COIE to the latest one (Final or Infinite? I forget). Anyway, it's got all the tie ins along with it so I'm getting sucked into that. I did just finish reading a ton of Marvel Ultimate stuff though. I really like how the universe is not so convoluted that the casual reader can't follow it. If DC did a complete reboot, I might get on board with them as well.

Golden Age - Wash, only on the strength of Jack Kirby, otherwise DC. Silver - Marvel. Bronze - Marvel at the beginning but then the British Invasion swayed it to DC. Modern - They all have good titles.

i by no means restrict myself to marvel content, in fact if anything i'd say that the majority of titles that captivate me and i enjoy the most thoroughly are neither of the big two (albeit at times break-offs). i simply find marvel to be more appealing, for the most part in consideration of what i've read.

For what it's worth right now, DC is stuck being dead last on my pull list, only because they've put themselves in an interesting position with the relaunch. That said...
Marvel has got probably the two best quality on-goings right now, between The Mighty Thor and Uncanny X-Force (which is probably, to me, the best book on stands, and if you're not reading it, then how does it feel to only be living a half-life?).
Dynamite has got my favorite on-going on stands right now, with The Boys. They've also got a killer mini going in 'Jennifer Blood'.
As far as new books that I'm watching closely, IDW just put out a new TMNT #1, which I'd say I'm following even more closely than any of the DC #1's.

IDW has been kicking some ass with the Transformers Series and the death of Cobra Commander.

DC's, based on two reasons.
Their characters interest me much more; Green Arrow, The Flash, Green Lantern being my favourite superheroes, with Batman's being my favourite in terms of general superhero universes. Then of course there's Vertigo, whose titles got me back into the whole comic book thing again (Sandman - favourite GN of all time).
Marvel have some great stories in X-Men, but aside from that, I haven't really given them a shot. Characters like Thor and Captain America haven't really pulled me in based on what little the internet has told me of their backstories though.

Marvel's 3.99 prices have pushed me away from the company.
