Watched the fight again. Now I know it's going to sound like I'm just picking at Brock but I respect the hell out of him. Fought some top guys and won, but it just REALLY looked like he didn't want to be in there. He didn't commit to any takedown, and he just looked like he wanted to leave. Good for him, though. He wants more time with his family, so hey more power to you. Yeah i dont know what he was doing with his takedowns but it was like he wasn't even trying. And turtling up wasn't going to get him anywhere so I'm glad it ended when it did. And to Batemen. I think JDS has a better chance then Cain. If JDS was able to KO Cain as quick as he could I think Reem would do the exact same thing. JDS/Reem is going to be a war. Two guys that rely mostly on their striking dukin it out to see who the champ is, but the heavyweight division hasn't had a truly dominant champion in i don't know how many years now so I don't see JDS having a very long reign but if anybody can do it its him.

pretty disappointing fight, but overeem prevailed so i am in the end pleased with the result. wondering if brock is gone or not, looking most likely that he will.

ufc 141 was a hell of a way to end an amazing year of MMA for 2011. i missed the first two rounds of the hettes/phan fight but i heard that hettes just dominated phan and i couldnt believe the judges had it 30-25.
i usually dont always agree with mazagatti and his stoppages but this one was absolutely perfect, fitch was out CLEAN, hendricks is a beast, give him the winner of sanchez/ellenberger (or maybe the loser)
nate vs cerrone was a hell of a brawl, i was getting a little worried for nate with all the successful leg kicks cerrone threw at him. the pre fight finger from cerrone was matched PERFECTLY with the third round double bird that nate gave him. FOTN for sure. im glad nate is on his way to the title
overeem vs lesnar was a little disapointing in that i thought it was going to be more of a war than just a onesiding beatdown from overeem. i respect alistar more now, i never thought he was that good but now i see him being a threat to JDS title. thank you brock, it was a short career but it honestly was a very succesful one.

Many have called it the best performance of his career and it is kind of hard to argue that point.
Last Friday in the UFC 141 co-main event, Nate Diaz outpointed Donald Cerrone in dominant fashion to not only earn himself a judge’s decision but also set a new CompuStrike record for a three-round fight.
Diaz now becomes the fighter to hold the highest striking percentage landed in a 15-minute bout. With 258 of his 314 punches landed he was able to execute a solid 82% accuracy rating in the bout against Cerrone.
To be clear, the new record is for percentage of strikes landed in a three-round fight and not percentage of strikes landed in a fight scheduled for three rounds that ended earlier than the scheduled time limit.
By comparison, the latest victim of a Stocktonian, Donald Cerrone, landed only landed 66 out of his 200 strikes thrown for just 33%.
Beast-mode.
