Which is the correct way of spelling the following phrase?
"Coward's way out."
OR
"Cowards way out."
Need to know for my monologue homework. Okay, so I'm doing 'The Altitude of a Triangle' and I need to rearrange a formula. The current formula reads: 2y - 3x + 1 = 0 I need it to read: y = ..... I know you how to rearrange it, it's just getting it right. Would it be: y = -1 + 3x 2 OR y = -1/2 + 3x/2 Cheers.

Yes. The way out belongs to the coward. Unless, you're talking about multiple cowards. Then you would say "Cowards' way out".

Depends. If you say, "Cowards way out in the middle of nowhere have noting to fear." or "Mike was trying to block off the coward's way out."
You gotta give us the context.
Must be a european phrase. Oh wait, you guys don't like being called euros. Well, you are.

How would the teacher know it's wrong if it's a monologue?

math question: It's the same thing. Either is fine. They're essentially the same equation.

Unless I'm missing something, the two answers you gave are the same. Either one should give you the correct answer.
