Well, lets hope they get released to the public not Ebay auction, Id pay up to $500.00 and maybe a long thought and maybe Id buy it a $1000.00

I don't think the cost would be nearly as high as your are implying for a mass release. Anyways Nike already said they aren't doing a mass release of these. They are doing 1500 and that is it. They don't want to take away the specialness of the item.

They don't want to take away the specialness of the item. It's higher than their normal production cost, I'll put it that way. The cost would have to be offset by the price of the shoe. To produce it on a mass quantity would never guarantee they would sell all of them. Not that the shoe's HAVE to cost that much, but it's Nike. |

They'd make more selling 50,000 X 100 = 5,000,000 . Do the math ! Now before anyone gets up in arms about 5000 being low well so is 50,000 they could probably sell half a million of these at 100 bucks which is 50 million .
