Anyone else feel like Legends 6 is the best selling wave of Legends out of all of them. I mean, they first started shipping back in, what, May? And they're still getting put on back order!
Now I know some of this is due to the fact that they have yet to see any kind of retail release, but even before we all realized that they wouldn't be hitting retail anytime soon Ringside still have them on double back order before they even arrived in the first place.
Maybe I'm just getting antsy since I want Eddie and Kerry so much and it just seems like they're on permanent back order, but I have to think that RSC is making a killing on these guys!

Ringside certainly has the series 6 wave on lock. I have seen them pop up here and there on mattel shop. I'm curious if these are being made in waves or if they are all packaged up sitting in a warehouse. be neat to see if there is any running changes along the way.

How can it be a best selling wave when it hasnt even been released in retail? You could make a case for it being the most in demand wave.

Certainly seem to be. They're in stock for an hour each time.

I hope Legends can become a regular line again and over in the UK this time, I was recently on vacation to Florida and I was mega impressed with TRU's selection, I'd kill for that here, ended up coming home with stacks of Legends figures.

How can it be a best selling wave when it hasnt even been released in retail? You could make a case for it being the most in demand wave. Here's the sales number breakdown for each figure: Ultimate Warrior: 834,845 Kerry Von Erich: 943,748 Kevin Von Erich: 758,954 Eddie Guerrero: 864,659 Texas Tornado: 765,484 Oh I'm the Vice Executive Sales Divisional International Stock Representative for Mattel. So those numbers are definitely real and not just made up.

I don't even see Mattel producing that many figures for a set. Does anybody know about how many figures they would produce for a series?

yeah Wrestling fig forums has almost 3,000 members and if they are members they found this forum by searching for wrestling figures to buy. They found their way to RSC and probably order from their if it is really hard to find figures in their areas. Point being I did not order Legends 6 yet and I pretty sure about 2,500 of us have not either... Soooo almost 4 million Legends 6 sold??? We would have seen more than just the 6 I have seen on ebay. Also I am the president of Mattel and my #'s show that our toys r us Legends 2-packs have sold 4,039,234 to date and I didnt make that # up its definet....because R truth only tells the truth and nothing but the TRUTH!

let me start this post by saying that there is no chance those numbers are correct...HOWEVER, you have to remember *IF* he is with Mattel, the numbers they'd be reporting are units sold to retailers, not units sold in stores.

it's funny, I still remember when the line-up for L6 was announced and a vocal minority were like - "yup the von erichs are going to be mega shelf warmers", and "only 3000 people from Texas would buy the Von Erichs". That might still happen once L6 is released to retail, but so far, the inclusion of two versions of Kerry and his brother has been GOLD for Mattel. Of course it helps when the other two people in the wave are Eddie and Ultimate Warrior - instant sellers in any line-up. But peeps want Tornado for a quick Hogan fix-up, but I'm not sure why they want the Modern Day Warrior unless they were an old-school WCCW fan

Its all speculation. Maybe mattel only made small amounts of L6? Who knows right? They seem to be doing well on rsc but we have no idea the numbers they are getting
However, I do think that legends popularity got better with each series and mattel pulled the plug too quick. Also the whole 'non current wrestlers' not being allowed in the legends line by wwe was bullshit.
I think they prob wanted to save them for dms and make more money , but undertaker, hbk, kane, bret hart , hhh, etc should have all been in legends line, regardless of who was current or who's dm material .
I hope mattel brings legends back, 6 series was not nearly enough.
