Wait- so Legends 6 has popped up in the US at retail? Kmart? I must have missed something.

Best selling? Impossible for L6 to be the best selling if you are going by units sold. A series that hasnt or just barely been released in retail cant sell more then a series that was at every retail possible for months.
Perhaps its one of the most popular and in demand....but that may just be because it's not widely available yet. Series 4 was tough to find in my area. Only saw it for a few weeks.

Here's the sales number breakdown for each figure: Ultimate Warrior: 834,845 Kerry Von Erich: 943,748 Kevin Von Erich: 758,954 Eddie Guerrero: 864,659 Texas Tornado: 765,484 Oh I'm the Vice Executive Sales Divisional International Stock Representative for Mattel. So those numbers are definitely real and not just made up. Jakks UFC Series 8, which is actually in retail, is outselling Mattel WWE Legends 6. Fail. Proof? Numbers? No? No real ones? Didn't think.

These need to hit retail. I need Warrior and Texas Tornado. My Kerry Von Erich is an awesome figure.

It's unlikely that the problem is that these are selling well and selling fast. The issue more likely is that these were produced in much smaller numbers, due to the assumption that there would be zero demand for them at the retail level (they were right).

Its all speculation. Maybe mattel only made small amounts of L6? Who knows right? They seem to be doing well on rsc but we have no idea the numbers they are getting. This is almost certainly correct. Production numbers often go down on lines over time and given that Mattel does not believe there is the demand to sustain the Legends line in retail, it seems quite likely that production numbers would be down for the final retail line-up. This will disproportionally impact a specialty retailer like Ringside that probably wasn't really the problem in the first place. Especially given how slow the line has been to show up at brick & mortar stores, possibly driving impatient collectors online.
