You know, random things in this world we live in that you feel are overrated, over hyped and just generally disappointing. Mountain Dew - The original stuff. Wanted to try it for years. Hearing how good it tastes all my life and when the UK finally get it... so disappointed. Literally tastes like flat Fanta and flat Coke mixed together. Some of the other flavours are amazing tbf, but at £1.50 a can, I tend to stay away. Most Oasis Songs - They have 3 or 4 "classics," the rest is pish. Still you hear people go on about how they're the best band ever, and how Beady Eye (who?) are going to be just as good. The majority of Oasis's songs sound so similar and bland it's not even funny. The Ending to The Sopranos - Admittedly, never seen it, but have watched the ending on youtube and it was apparently huge here and in America. I'd be extremely pissed if one of my favourite shows ended like that. Which brings me to another one... Lost - Loved it, but it could have been miles better than it was. It seemed to get slightly less amazing every season imo. 1 and 2 were brilliant, 3 and 4 were great, 5 was decent... the last one was ok. Probably not going to be a popular choice, but whatever. Frankie Boyle - Shit. FIFA 11 - After the masterpiece that was FIFA 10, 11 was so underwhelming. So bad. Too buggy, online is shocking, servers suck, they ed up Manager Mode... just doesn't compare. The only good thing about it is that it lowers my expectations for 12 so if it is even slightly better I'll be delighted. What are some of yours?

I can't stand avatar, and 3d is still poop.
I don't rate harry potter that well either. It's good but not amazing. Tbh this talk of pop culture is depressing, wish I could live in the 90s.

I agree with Mountain Dew, hearing and reading rave reviews of the stuff I was....underwhelmed when I first tried it. God knows why its the biggest drink in America. Much prefer Cherry Tango to the Cherry flavour Mountain Dew (Code red?).
Hershey Chocolate is another, most of it tastes cheap and the kisses even taste like sick, and this is the biggest chocolate company in America?
A big FU to America.

The thing about the Mountain Dew is that the UK haven't got anywhere near enough the real version! Try the proper stuff and your views may change, the UK stuff tastes so different from the American stuff.

The UK mountain dew is NOT the american stuff. The american stuff is amazing.
I HATE avatar, so boring and it took 10(or was it 20) years to make? What a waste of time.
Never watched any Harry Potter, they look so boring, and I hate all the actors/actresses in the film so easy pass for me.
COD Black Ops. I LOVED MW2, and was pumped for BO, but it was just lackluster for me, I loved the training thing glitch, where you could have search and you could prestige. I got to 15th prestige on training mode. After it was patched I traded it in.

I am talking about the US stuff, can buy from import shops for £1.50 per can (as McBlake mentions).

CoD - All of them are crap(maybe because I'm bad at them, maybe because they really are shit, I don't know).
3D - Sucks in my opinion, other than Transformers 3! Loved that.
Facebook - Yes I have it, yes I go on it everyday, but it's still the biggest waste of my time out there.

I must agree with 3D in cinema's.
I went to see Shrek 4 (yes, I know) and it just looks plain blurry. It seems much better on the rides in Orlando, Florida.

I've never been able to get into Twitter. It just seems like a half-arsed version of every other social network site.
Oh...and The Beatles. Boring, drugged-up poo.

Yeah I don't get 3D cinema at all.
I've got a Cineworld unlimited card and I go at least once a week, and I haven't seen a single flick where 3D added anything to the experience apart from £1.50 and a pair of stupid glasses.

I actually like Mountain Dew. First tried it in a games shop in Glasgow and thought it was really good. I do prefer the UK stuff though, it has more of a kick to it.

3D for me, can't see the point in it for most of the films I've seen.
