When Zuffa purchased Strikeforce, Dana said that they weren't planning on making any changes in Strikeforce and said that he was going to keep UFC how it is and keep Strikeforce how it is but obviously with the scheduled fights with Strikeforce fighters in UFC events, that doesn't seem to be happening. Cung Le, Nick Diaz, Alistair Overeem.
Why don't they just make a UFC vs. Strikeforce event. I think it'll be a pretty interesting event. Plus, it'll help introduce some of the lesser known Strikeforce fighters by allowing them to showcase their skills in a UFC cage. I'm sure everyone can just imagine some great matchups.
I doubt an event like this would ever happen, but if it were, what UFC vs. Strikeforce matchups would you like to see?

That would actually be cool, but I don't see it happening. I think they should have a UFC vs. Strikeforce event and then merge the companies to UFC.

Meh, I've not got much interest in that idea, just merge the companies and let us see who's the best in each division once and for all and get rid of all this shitty debates.

Diaz, Overeem and Le aren't Strikeforce fighters, if we're being technical. They've left Strikeforce and signed UFC contracts.
I'm not trying to nitpick, I'm just saying, it's not like Sting is facing John Cena next week, you know what I mean?

I would consider them UFC vs. Strikeforce fights. Signing over new contracts or not. After they get a few more fights in the UFC, then I would consider them UFC fighters.
And, Diaz' contract does state that he can fight in Strikeforce as well.

It would be cool, but I think it'll just stay how it is now.

Diaz vs. GSP needs to happen. It's like the dream match the absolute best at 170 in Strikeforce vs. the absolute best in UFC.
