Hey guys!
I'm a huge Hitman fan and personally believe he's the greatest of all time (my opinion of course). He has had so many classic matches but I'm just curious what is YOUR favorite Hitman match?
I think mine is Mr. Perfect vs. Bret Hart from King of the Ring 1993. I think they topped their SummerSlam match and it still really holds up today. I also think his match with Diesel at Survivor Series 1995 is really underrated and a classic too!

he had a lot of great matches some which have already been mentioned.
one i always liked was against Razor Ramon at the Royal Rumble!
also the Survivor Series vs Shawn Michaels and the knights.
i really liked Bret in the role of the fighting champion and sometimes underdog, he just had that kind of presence about him

I always say its an awful pity Bret didnt get the 93 he was scheduled to get.
Vs Warrior @ RR93 Vs Savage @ WMIX-this would have been so great. Vs Hogan @ Summerslam 03.

Vs Hogan @ Summerslam 03. i didn't realise that he was meant to face Warrior and Savage. that would have been great and a victory against those three ( arguably the three most popular of the previous 5 years) would have been such a boost for the "new generation" campaign. still wrestling is full of these "what if" scenario's.

Savage was pencilled in to win the 93 Rumble and be presented as brets greatest challenge to date as champ.
Savage had his own ring in Florida and was that excited about the match that he started making plans for Bret to come vist and map things out(Savage was a prep freak)just like he did with Flair one year earlier.but the day of the Rumble Vince decided to go with Yoko-UGH.

I didn't know about this either! That would've been incredible! So much better than Yoko vs. Bret. Plus we hopefully wouldn't have got the same WrestleMania IX ending with PolicitalMania runnin' wild! JokerFC: You mentioned some great matches there. All of them are classics. I've been trying to find the promo between Hitman/Perfect before their KOTR 1993 match but I can't seem to locate it on Youtube...

Simple; WM13 against Austin, in my opinion one of the most perfect matches ever put together. Also give a mention to the tag match at Canadian Stampede, amazing match with awesome talent.

Against Owen at WMX.
Not because of what Meltzer reckons, but because it aptly adheres to the Four Quarters and is timeless in that respect to me.

I loved the Bret Hart v. 1-2-3 Kid Match on Monday Night Raw in 94. Still one of my favorite matches to this day.
The Matches with Perfect, Piper & Bulldog were great as well.
I also think his series of matches with Bob Backlund in the summer and fall of 94 are underrated. (Not the terrible WM 11 one) Dramatic ending aside, I think the Survivor Series submission match was great.

Another forgotten classic is the "Final Four" match from February 1997 when Bret beats Austin, Vader & Undertaker for his 4th WWF Title. Still pissed that match hasn't been released on DVD.
I remember the Monday Night Raw right after that was when I started watching regularly and I was so pissed Austin cost Bret the title against Sid.

i always enjoyed the bret v owen cage match from summerslam 94. then again, it probably stood out as the whole card was piss poor.

Every time someone brings up WrestleMania IX, I cannot help but think of Bret vs. Savage. I truly think it would have been epic! Yeah it was a shame Bret never got his original 1993 schedule of opponents. I think it would have been very interesting to see thos ematch with Warrior, Savage, & Hogan. On topic, so many matches come to mind, but here is a short list of my favorites: - vs. Owen at WM X - vs. Owen at SS '94 - w/ Owen vs. Steiners - vs. Mr. Perfect - SS '91 - vs. Mr. Perfect - 1993 KOTR - vs. Randy Savage - Slamboree '98 - vs. Diesel - 1995 SVS

To make this simple, I shall do a top 10 of my fave Bret Hart matches in no particular order.
1. Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect - SummerSlam 91 2. Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect - KOTR 93 3. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels - Survivor Series 92 4. Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog - SummerSlam 92 5. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart - Wrestlemania 10 6. Bret Hart vs. Diesel - Survivor Series 95 7. Bret Hart vs. Diesel - Royal Rumble 95 8. Bret Hart vs. Undertaker - SummerSlam 97 9. Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin - Wrestlemania 13 10. Bret Hart vs. Ted DiBiase - SNME April 1991
The one Bret Hart match I never liked was the WM 12 Iron Man match with HBK. I felt there was way too many arm bars in that hour. For 2 guys being so technically skilled, it was such a boring match.
