Major news breaking out of Orlando's TNA TV tapings is that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were both officially relieved of their duty's in TNA wrestling... They both were spotted leaving the building and it is expected within the forthcoming days they will be released from their contracts. With Bound for Glory 2 weeks away this is seen as a HUGE creative blow to TNA Wrestling...
We received the following text message from Dixie Carter: "While it is unfortunate that Mr.Bischoff and Mr.Hogan are no longer with the company, I can assure you fans that the product will remain in tact and I have been in contact with a few names to come in and over haul this company...expect changes immediately starting with tonight's TV Taping and the new President of TNA WILL be announced in 2 weeks at Bound For Glory."
Let the speculations begin...
Since you haven't got any replies to your show, I thought I'd reply since I know how it feels to run a TNA diary and not getting any loving. The one nitpick I have right off hand is the backstory to the whole thing, with Hogan/Bischoff leaving. Why would Dixie Carter allow Hogan to leave TNA Wrestling after a year of building up Sting vs. Hogan? Plus, why would Dixie Cater be quoted of calling their leaving "unfortunate" when on television, she would be happy they are gone? That just doesn't follow up with what has been built for a year, I think you would have been better to wait until after "Bound for Glory" to have Hogan leave, as you could write him off television by Sting beating him. That is just my two cents to that. I thought your show was somewhat well booked, but the writing needs some work. It seems a bit disorganized comparatively speaking, thus doesn't seem to flow that well. The booking was kind of hit and miss, as you seem to have ignored some of the long-term booking TNA has been doing, like Robert Roode having to face every member of Fortune before "Bound for Glory". I am interested to see who Sting's opponent will be, but there really isn't that much time to build up a strong opponent for Sting since he has been fighting with Hogan for an entire year. Also, where in the world is Jeff Hardy? It's a good start, just seems like you threw some TNA angles out the window which is fine, but kind of ignored them instead of finishing them off. Keep with it though, I'll reply.
