its time for a gimmick/name change
"Daniel Bryan" is really a horrendous wrestling name.
Michael Cole constantly reminding us that he's a nerd, and a vegan, and doesn't own a TV is NOT helping casual fans to like him. I think they originally thought they could bring DB in as a goodie two shoe kind of guy, that everyone would get behind.
It's just NOT working.
He needs to drop the awful name, and become a submission wrestling machine like he was born to be. Get over with his wrestling ability and making people "tap or snap"

God I love that guy. He is the best when he is pissed off. Doesn't strike me as "heel" at all though. Strikes me as someone who got screwed in a match.

Don't see him turning heel, but I hope he continues to grow that epic beard. I forget where, but I remember reading him say he's going to keep growing it until he cashes in his MITB at WrestleMania. And yeah, just because he's pissed doesn't mean he's going to turn heel. Great interview though. |

He needs to get pissed has he even won a match since the Money in the Bank match? Kind of find it hard to believe hes going to keep his briefcase until Wrestlemania and actually have a title shot there. Maybe he'll turn heel and cash in sooner.

I just see him racking up an enormous losing streak, to the point where nobody believes he has a hope in hell of winning the World Title at Mania. He looks like the ultimate underdog, and pulls off a huge, huge win.
Ofc, people will bitch and bitch; 'Wah he looks weak, he needs to be badass wah wah.'

I really enjoy Daniel Bryan the wrestler, but that little promo just made him look 100x better as an all around performer. He needs to have that fiery attitude from here on out. It gave him a lot of character.
