I've got a question. So I dropped $30 on a 2018 Heritage jumbo rack pack hot pack because the 2018 Heritage set is a really great looking set and the possibilities are pretty enticing. Anyway it was advertised to have a hit guaranteed to be numbered out of 25. I figured maybe the hit was in the back and he could see the number, but no, the hit was in the middle of the pack. How would he have known the hit was guaranteed to be numbered out of 25? Is there a clue on the packaging somewhere? Or did he open the pack and reseal it somehow?
Long story longer it was a Kevin Owens silver triple mat relic /25. Not terrible at all. It's a pretty great looking card.

Not sure how he guarantees a /25 but a mat relic or most relic cards are easy to find. You can not bend those packs in stores. Always see people posting videos of people going through the store bending packs and people yelling at them. Saying they ruin the hobby. Did the listing guarantee a /25? I see listing like hot pack maybe a /1, /10 inside

My only thought without tampering, and I am not familiar enough with the product to know if this is possible, is if it was a guaranteed case hit to get one of a /25 card from that set.
I know in some of the current basketball sets, they have these special striped variants that are one per case but again, you’d have to open a lot of packs and have some strange luck to have that be the last pack standing,
Then again, if it was a guaranteed relic of that nature in a case, and that pack felt different... I don’t know, completely grasping at straws but glad you got a cool piece that most importantly, you are happy with.

Yeah that's kind of what I thought. I actually like the hit, but it's a little sullied now due to the deception. This is what I get for enabling these guys lol.

Topps Chrome won’t be out until October now. Wow that’s been pushed back like 4 times now.

For those that don’t listen, Tony Kahn’s interview on the Major Podcast confirmed AEW cards are in the works.
I felt many times the TNA Tri-Star cards had some more in-depth stuff for true collectors and than the casual fan base structure Topps implements, so curious what company has the AEW license and what we get and when we get these releases.

I take it Transcendent has been released? They're popping up on eBay anyway. Just a reminder that now is a good time to start hunting because people will start selling so they can buy. When interesting things start popping up you know a new set was released.
