Thanks for all the advice, I've been learning the market over the past few days trying not to overpay for cards that I want. Being from the UK the import tax charges make purchases much more expensive - the card I'm looking at currently is an additional £30 ($40) in import charges... that's almost another card for the collection!
I'm interested in how you all collect, opening the hobby boxes looks more fun and is much more affordable than mainstream sports but the reward (from what I've seen) often doesn't seem to cover the cost of the box. Or do you tend to scroll on auction sites to pick up good deals on individual cards for your collections?

Bought a box of topps fully loaded and hit a banger in it! Pulled a red parallel Charlotte flair auto/kiss card #ed 3/5!
I haven't bought much for packs the last few years, but I've been on a hot bender with my last 2 boxes. I hit a base super tractor 1/1 Adam Cole from finest in my last box and now this.
Very happy.

I have become ocd with my bray Wyatt collection. Went threw all the sets to his rookie card and want to check off as many autos as I can. If you have any and might be willing to sell send me a dm what you got. Thanks

My first card arrived today for the collection - managed to get an Adam Cole 2019 Transcendent /15 for a good price. Planning on thinning out my figure collection and starting to get an auto card and a figure for some of my favourites which should look nice on display

I've been sending cards through the mail for autograph requests recently. Got 2 back today. One from Johnathan coachman, who signed 3 cards for me and one from Ken shamrock, who signed 4 cards for me. Really enjoy collecting cards this way.

I bought 4 more boxes of NXT 2020 & did pretty well. I know Shotzi autographs are pretty popular right now. I really like the 1/1 Swerve auto plate. The gold signature looks better than the usual blue.

Finally got the 2 boxes of Topps WWE Women's Division 2020 that I preordered last October. The cards are very nice & on-card autos are always a plus. Carmela is to 150, Mickie to 199, Mia to 50 & Mercedes to 99. I would buy more boxes if the price drops to the $50-$60 price range.

I really love the way the pink auto and mat relics look. I think I might need a few of those.

So i'm looking for opinions and feedback on my collection. I haven't really watched any wrestling other than a few PPV since my grandpa died 2 years ago. i have basically lost my interest in it. Now over the years i have collected many autographs and i'm torn as to how to part with them, or even to keep them
I have the first WWE Encyclopedia. I've gotten all my signatures in it, either on their page, or in the front cover/opening pages. As it is the first edition, many of the current roster isn't actually in the book. I've had some sign championship pages.
The book itself has wear and tear from being hauled to conventions, axxess and outside arenas.
I have a total of 132 different signatures. 72 on individual entries, 4 on the US champ page, 2 on the money in the bank page, and the rest are just at the opening of the book. 34 hall of famers. several deceased legends (Heenan, Dusty, Piper, Animal. a few are personalized to me.
Just looking for feedback if anyone thinks there would be a market for something like this. there is no COA, each one was in person obtained myself. I'm just afraid that someday my kids will donate it to goodwill or somethings
any thoughts are welcome. thanks for reading guys!

Put it in a box in your closet. Put it in storage. Put it out of sight and out of mind. Once you sell it there's no getting it back. Those signatures are memories.

I second keep it, at least for a good long while, maybe 15 or more years and then when the WWE_E is old enough fans might be willing to pay good money for it like they do now with the 80s and 90s stuff. The sentimental value is much more and you probably paid at least $15 for each I'm guessing if you got them at conventions. If you worry your kids will give it away then tell them of the importance of it and even tell them if they don't want to keep it to at least reach out to some big time dealers online who might be willing to pay or even facilitate a buyer for it. The WWE_E is a project I think most people would wind up buying their own copy to get autographs in, rather than buying one already signed and it's very difficult to get what you paid out of autographs from conventions even if it's a huge multi signed item.
Also, I am very sorry about your grandfather. I'm sure you have lots of good memories of him!

I'm just afraid that someday my kids will donate it to goodwill or somethings any thoughts are welcome. thanks for reading guys! Like the others above, I think you should keep the Encyclopedia. Don't get rid of it, you've spent so many hours, days, years adding to it. Unfortunately when it comes to multi-signed autos, they're never valued fairly or "linearly" with each additional auto - they plateau fairly quickly and at most you'd get a couple hundred when most likely the sum of your autos would likely be several thousand. I don't know how old you are, but you can just let your family know that you collected autographs in the book and I'm guessing they already know you're a big wrestling fan, so they should know it's meaningful. If you're still worried about it you can keep a post-it not or letter inside the cover that explains what the encyclopedia is all about! I also understand where you're at with not watching wrestling as much since your grandpa died. One of my grandpas died last year and I started grad school shortly after so between those two big life changes I haven't been as engaged with watching wrestling either. Connecting with other fans - with other people - is why I really like this forum and our threads like these.

I just want to thank all of you that commented. More than anything i needed to hear "KEEP IT!" from people who understand the efforts and the connections. I honestly do appreciate all the opinions on my question. It was a huge help.

Question - DVDs come with a card - is there a checklist for those cards and the DVDs they're associated with?
