i really hope this is good. the original three were all decent IMO, and FYI it's almost-unheard-of for me to say that about a teen sex comedy type film, since 99% of them i absolutely detest.
so it would be a real shame if they go for another one and it sucks. obviously the spin-off films sucked, but it's easy to not count them since they weren't about the original characters.
Stifler's mom better be in it. and Finch better be in her. LOL ;D

I hate teen-sex movies, but the American Pie series (1, 2, Wedding, and soon-to-be Reunion) are fun to watch. I hope this last one is great to end the series.

I hate teen-sex movies, but the American Pie series (1, 2, Wedding, and soon-to-be Reunion) are fun to watch. yeh as i said in my post i'm the same i think it's cos most Teen Sex movies often have mainly model-looking people (of sometimes limited acting ability) and the characters are mostly paper-thin with no real depth or realism. the jokes are mostly too exaggerated/unrealistic/slapstick or overly-sleazy, theres too much sex and nudity, and the scripts are often very poor too with not much of a story to hold it all together. and theres usually no elements of serious storytelling in there either. the movies are cheap, slick and quick-moneymakers aimed at a broad and (in my opinion) unintelligent audience basically. the american pie films show something a lot closer to what most people can relate to. there's seriousness and depth to the characters, and the jokes are believable. they have a good story to hold it all together, and i dunno, just don't have that annoying slick arrogance and offensive sleaze that other teen sex films do. |

Hell yes! I like the cheap approach to be honest. Yes, it would have been nice to get some real footage, but I'm a sucker for announcement trailers. I still salivate over the Museum teaser for Godzilla.
