A WWE special is on tv atm its the best of wcw nitro and the final match ever of Nitro is on, Sting vs Flair and one of the announcers said that Ric Flair is a 14 time World Champion and I'm pretty sure Flair hasn't won a World title since.

he lost and won the world title to Harley Race on a tour of New Zealand. i don't think it was ever recognised by the NWA board at the time so i think there has always been a bit of doubt about how many titles he's actually held.

He's actually a 21 time champion. I always hear this, but can someone provide the actual list?

Flair is probably the last person who's championship record will actually mean something IMO.
nowadays, championship belts are handed around so much that being world champion doesn't mean much at all.

There's always a chance for them to get their act together again. In a way, Cena's title reigns have meeting but that's stretching it.

also goes to show you just how great Flair actually was, that the NWA/WCW kept going back to him, year after year, decade after decade, to represent them as their World Champion...
