It's the final moments of "Bound for Glory" as defending NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett battles "The Icon" Sting in a Career vs. Title match. Sting attempts to apply the Scorpion Death Lock on Jarrett, but Jarrett is able to push Sting off into the referee! Jeff Jarrett sees his golden chance to retain his championship, but also retire Sting once and for all. Jarrett crawls out of the ring and pulls out a second guitar from underneath the ring before rolling back in.
By now, Sting has started to stir following knocking heads with the official, as Jarrett starts to size him up. Jarrett pulls the guitar back, but Kurt Angle has snuck up behind Jarrett and snatches the guitar from Jarrett. Jarrett immediately turns around and starts begging for Angle not to hit him, but Angle seems dead-set on it.
Angle pulls the guitar back and is about to hit Jarrett but he turns at the last moment to nail Sting with the guitar! The fans are in shock along with Jeff Jarrett who slowly crawls over and covers the lifeless body of Sting, allowing Kurt Angle to make the three count!
Jarrett quickly rolls out of the ring and grabs his championship belt, leaving the building without celebrating very long. Kurt Angle stood over the lifeless body of "The Icon" Sting... who just wrestled his final match!

Sounds interesting. As long as their real life issues don't come into play, Jarrett/Angle should be a good feud.

TNA iMPACT on SpikeTV October 26, 2006
A video package airs looking back at the shocking end to "Bound for Glory", before fading into the iMPACT opening. We then go inside the iMPACT Zone where Mike Tenay and Don West welcome us to the broadcast, before being interrupted by the music of Kurt Angle.
Kurt Angle makes his way down toward the ring with a microphone hand with boos from the fans inside the iMPACT Zone. Angle proceeds to rip the fans for booing him, calling the hypocritical for cheering the announcement when he was signed and now booing him because of what he did to Sting. He explained that he was here to be the face of TNA Wrestling and to do that, he had to make sure Sting was removed from the company. He referred to Sting as "the past" while Kurt Angle was the present and future of pro-wrestling! Before Angle could keep talking, the music of Rhino hits and Rhino comes down to the ring. Rhino screams at Angle for costing a legend like Sting his career for Angle's own selfish reasons, stating that it wasn't so Angle could be the face of TNA... it was because Angle was afraid that he would be out-shined by Sting! Angle doesn't appreciate the comment by Rhino and takes a cheap shot at Rhino, but Rhino doesn't go down causing Angle to bail from the ring. Rhino challenges Angle to come back down to the ring, but Angle refuses as he backs up the ramp.

Austin Starr vs. Kazarian The match starts with both men locking-up in the center of the ring, with Kazarian quickly getting an advantage with a side head lock. Kazarian would keep Starr grounded for the opening moments of the match, but Starr would worm his way out to the arena floor. Kazarian followed Starr to the arena floor but was quickly tossed into the steel guardrail by Starr. This would be the opening Starr would need to take control of the match, wearing Kazarian down before hitting a Brianbuster for the victory. Winner: Austin Starr
Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is rallying "Planet Jarrett" (America's Most Wanted, Gail Kim, and Abyss) in the locker room area about how his championship run would never end. The party is rained on when Jim Cornette breaks the news to Jeff Jarrett that the new number one contender for Jarrett's NWA World Heavyweight Championship would be revealed later in the evening... stating that Jarrett's attendance in the ring following the main event is mandatory.
-commerical-
The Latin American Xchange vs. The Natruals [Non-Title Match] Homicide and Hernandez jumped The Natruals during their entrance and beat them down around the ringside area before tossing them into the ring to start the match. Homicide would put some more boots to Andy Douglas before nailing the "Gringo Killa" on Douglas for the quick, but impactful win. Winners: The Latin American Xchange
Following the match, L.A.X beatdown The Natruals more until Team 3D would hit the ring to make the save. Team 3D and L.A.X would brawl until security came down to break it up. L.A.X is pulled from the ring, but Brother Ray is given a microphone. Brother Ray states that when they won the four-way at Bound for Glory, they became the number one contenders for the NWA World Tag Team Titles! He states they will get thier shot against L.A.X at the "Genesis" pay-per-view event.
-commerical-
AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are interviewed by Jeremy Borash about their next step as a tag team, with them both agreeing that there isn't a next step. They say that both of them have their own indivial goals that they want to make reality, so this is the end of a partnership.
Samoa Joe defeated Monty Brown In the main event, Samoa Joe and Monty Brown locked horns. Samoa Joe would get the advantage early on and take the fight to Monty Brown with a series of chops and forearms, rocking Monty Brown into the corner. This would allow Joe to unleash a furious face wash on Brown, before attempting to get the win but could only get a two count. Joe would set Brown on the top rope for the Muscle Buster too early as Brown would fight Joe off and hit a double axehandle from the second rope. Brown would charge for the Pounce, but Joe somehow caught Brown and locked in a crossface. Brown would fight and get toward the ropes, forcing Joe to break the hold. Joe would finally put Brown away with the Muscle Buster for the pin. Winner: Samoa Joe
Brown rolled from the ring as Samoa Joe celebrated his victory, as Jeff Jarrett's music played he walked with a purpose down to the ring. Jarrett yelled at Joe to get out of his ring before calling out Jim Cornette, who would walk onto the top of the stage with a big smile on his face. Jarrett said he wasn't going to let Cornette play with his head about his next challenger and told Cornette to bring out whatever washed up hasbeen Jarrett has to beat this month. "You want to know who you will face at Genesis, Jeff? Fine... you will be going one-on-one with... SAMOA JOE"! Jarrett's eyes about bug out of his head and slowly turns around to see Samoa Joe still standing in the ring, as we go off air.

TNA iMPACT: Thursday 26th October 2006...Alright, I usually like your diaries so here goes. Stick with this, no matter if you lose fingers, or interest. Kurt Angle kicking off the show was good, liked the promo on Sting and liked how it propelled us into our next feud between Angle and Rhino. That could get interesting for certain. Austin Starr and Kazarian had a good match; wasn't Kazarian on his rise back to the uppercard scene at this point? Starr with the win was fine, nice X-Division work to open up the show in the ring. Don't go overboard with the homosexually-influenced 'Starr' gimmick. Liked Jim Cornette torturing Jeff Jarrett. The Latin American Xchange beating the Naturals was a fair move; please keep Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens relevant though, I actually enjoyed their work a lot. LAX's post match attack just brought out Team 3D, please don't let this tag team rivalry go on too long though; they never had the best matches. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels revealing their solo run was cool, nice thing to include quietly. Samoa Joe and Monty Brown was a surprise to see in the main event spot; interesting that Joe won. I'm interested in how Joe and Jarrett's feud goes.

TNA iMPACT on SpikeTV Novemeber 2, 2006
The broadcast opens with the music of Jeff Jarrett who comes down to the ring alongside America's Most Wanted, Abyss, and Gail Kim. Jarrett cuts a promo about how he is refusing to face Samoa Joe at "Genesis" due to Samoa Joe not earning a championship match. He states that whoever gets a shot at his championship must earn it via a match against Abyss! This brings out Jim Cornette who tells Jeff Jarrett that he doesn't run the show, but Cornette does. Cornette reminds Jarrett that Samoa Joe beat him at "No Surrender" thus has earned the title match, but since Jarrett wants to complain about it... he is booking Jeff Jarrett in a non-title match tonight against Rhino! Jarrett stomps his feet and shakes his head no, but Cornette says that if Jeff Jarrett doesn't compete in the match... he'll be stripped of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title!
Backstage, Jeremy Borash catches up with Rhino about the announcement of the main event by Jim Cornette. Rhino states that his focus isn't on Jeff Jarrett, it's on Kurt Angle. He states that if Kurt Angle wants to take a cheap shot, then Rhino is going to beat his ass! Rhino storms off to find Kurt Angle.

Austin Starr vs. Christopher Daniels During the entrance of Christopher Daniels, there was a pre-taped interview airing in the corner of the screen where Daniels states he has his mind set on the X-Division Championship. This match kicks off with Starr taking a cheap shot with a thumb to the eye and taking control of the match. Starr would attempt to wear Daniels down with a variety of submission holds, before attempting a Brainbuster but Daniels slipped out of it. Daniels quickly took control and worked over Starr enough to pick up the win with the "Angel's Wings". Winner: Christopher Daniels
Following the match, Austin Starr attacked Christopher Daniels from behind during his celebration. This lead to Chris Sabin hitting the ring to save Christopher Daniels, as Starr scurried off. Daniels pulled himself up and assumed that it was Sabin that attacked him from behind and shoved him. The two got into a shoving match until Daniels hit the "Angel's Wings" on Sabin!
Backstage, Rhino is still searching for Kurt Angle when Eric Young appears from inside of a dumpster. Young questions Rhino about the "rumors" that someone was getting fired tonight, Rhino said he didn't have time for Young's stupid games. Young ducks back down into the dumpster to hide.

The Natruals vs. America's Most Wanted This seemed to be a quick and dominating match for A.M.W on paper, but The Natruals but up an amazing fight against Storm and Harris. Storm tried to us his brawling and ruthless style against Andy Douglas from the opening bell, but Douglas wouldn't stay down and wound up spitting in Storm's face. This set Storm off who began wailing on Douglas, but this fired Douglas up more. The two would start exchanging lefts and rights, but they'd both knock each other to the mat at the same time with big shots. This allowed them to tag out to their partners, but Chase Stevens didn't have the same results as his partner. Stevens was quickly beaten down by Harris and laid out with a DDT. This allowed a woozy James Storm to enter the ring and nail the "Death Sentence" alongside Harris on Stevens, for the win. Winners: America's Most Wanted
Following the match, Shane Douglas yelled at Stevens for losing the match but shook Andy Douglas' hand for putting up such a fight.
[commercal]
Rhino vs. Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett made his way down to the ring dragging his feet, not wanting to compete. Rhino's music played but he never came down to the ring... the cameras then caught Rhino backstage being attacked from behind by Kurt Angle! Kurt Angle and Rhino brawled throughout the backstage area with Rhino getting slammed headfirst into a peice of fencing in the backstage area, busting him open. Angle would event hit the Oylmpic Slam on Rhino, right on the concrete floor! Angle would drag Rhino's (almost) lifeless body down to the ring and toss him in. This allowed Jeff Jarrett to steal a win. Winner: Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle shook hands post-match, but Angle pulled Jarrett in and told him he was coming for the NWA Worlds Championship. Angle let go of Jarrett's handshake and turned around into a right hand from Rhino. Angle and Rhino would brawl with Jarrett watching until Jarrett started to help Angle. This would bring out Samoa Joe who quickly tossed Jarrett out of the ring! Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe had a staredown in the middle of the ring as the fans chanted "Joe's Gonna Kill You", but Angle shook his head no and turned to leave only to get hit with a "GORE!". Rhino stood over Kurt Angle, while Samoa Joe stared at Jeff Jarrett who was on the top of the ramp clutching his world title to close the show.
