Here is some stuff I've been working on. Two of the three are far from finished. I just wanted to give a preview because I like how they are coming together. First up is a Blue Blood era Triple H: This one is just about finished. I just need to add the white stripes to his boots. It's a Brian Pillman body, with Cody Rhodes calves and boots for added height, and a Jakks Triple H head. I only painted over the side designs and the Cody Rhodes calves. I also know I have the jacket around somewhere from the CS 1 Triple H. That will be a nice touch. I decided to give him the big kneepads to give his paints that flared look they had on the sides. Also, I know these are tights, not pants. Sue me lol Next is a Surfer Sting I'm working on: I'm taking quite a bit of creative license on this one, especially on the head. It's a painted Chris Jericho head. I still need to give the hair a softer shade of yellow to give him that bleach blonde look. This is only the first coat of paint on the hair. The facepaint was something I totally made up on the spot. I couldn't think of what to do so I just started putting down layers of white and blue and this is what I came up with. You can pretty much ignore the tights because I am waiting on Sting tights from Ralph, which will cover these. I only painted them blue so that if the tights I get from Ralph slip down a bit or ride up, you still see blue. Finally, I have a two toned tights British Bulldog: Originally, I got the body for a Hulk Hogan but I went a different direction with that and figured I'd just put the extra Bulldog on my display. Only problem was that I had already used his boots and calves. So I figured I'd change up the look a little. For me this was kind of gutsy. I'd never really done split colored tights before. I think as long as I'm keeping that middle line even I'm doing good. This one is the farthest from being finished and I don't even really have a timetable for it to be complete. This was started before people gave me advice on how to avoid getting paint on the torso, so you will notice some which will be cleaned up. I also still have to add more coats to the blue side as I only have like 1 or 2 down so far, as opposed to the red side where I put on about 5 or 6 coats. The boots can be ignored because those are temporary and are only there so that I can stand him up while I'm painting. When I'm ready I will be giving him white boots with the tassles from his Legends figure. Also, those are Iron Sheik arms since I used his arms for something else and didn't have other arms that matched the skin tone. When you look at it just keep in mind that even though I've been working on it a long time, it's still in its very early stages and is nowhere near being finished.

Loving all the Rock Fix-Ups...shame I'll probably never see the RTWM figure here is OZ
@juicewinslow™ - Great work on that Mr T...can't wait to see the finished product
@muccguy88 - Great work as always...especially liking the 2-tone Bulldog. Glad to see you added some height for your Hunter as Pillman by itself is too short. I used a Bulldog upper with Goldust lower for mine

The Bulldog torso is actually better as far as size and shape goes, but Pillman's torso matches the skin tones with the Jakks Triple H head. Also, I just learned how to successfully crack torsos this evening and I started these a long time ago. I may still crack Bulldog's torso and take it off so I can give it a really good cleaning. BTW if anyone has an extra Vince McMahon head they are willing to sell I'm trying to make a wrestling gear Vince McMahon.

It can be found at most hobby stores. Its the PERFECT color for blond hair like Sting, Flair, Heenan etc. It actually matches the Jakks blond to a T. Thanks. I know I have a paint that may be the right color but I'm not sure if it's still good. If it's bad I'll give your suggestion a check.

Nice ideas, but you might wanna clean up the excess paint around Bulldog's pants and boots, and paint a little better into Sting's knee joints. I think they're all good efforts tho! Might do Blueblood HHH myself!

I'm not sure if you read the explanations but I did explain that I'm going to clean the paint on Bulldog's torso and those boots won't be on the finished bulldog so I don't care about paint getting on them. and I'm going to leave Sting's tights as they are because I am going to be putting tights from Ralph on him, so you won't be able to see the painted tights anyway.

Ever wonder what the british bulldog would look like if he actually matched the rest of the Hart Foundation?? That looks interesting but I'm glad he never wore anything like that. Pink and Black just don't work for Bulldog. It's amazing how the use of different colors can just take away a person's entire personality.

Its certainly different. Its something that actually kinda bugged me during that Era cause the entire family would come out in Pink and Black and there he was in Red, White and Blue. I was always curious as to what he would look like. I figured since I had some spare parts Id take a gander at it. You definitely did a good job with it. I guess you answered your question about why he didn't come out in the Pink and Black.

Im sorry but that Davey looks badass dude. Just needs pink or white boots and some knee pads with designs. I didnt want to use the DH Smith pads to make it a little bit different. Im looking to start tinkering with waterslide decals (lower quality then Deans stuff) and might put something like a pink/white or something Union Jack on the knee pads to still give it a British look. Then again, I think it looks good just black too so Im not sure. I actually kind of like that. Do you have Bret and Pillman? Maybe the Dynasty too? I'd love to see some group pics. Good job! Dont have the Dynasty but Ive got Bret and Pillman...also a custom Owen that's a work in progress... [/quote] Off to a great start on Owen. You should definitely use decals for the designs. I personally wouldn't bother with the trim. The silver would work fine. And don't forget to fins him arms with no wrist tape.

Now that I've learned how to successfully crack torsos, I did some more fixups. Here's what I came up with. British Bulldog: It always bugged me that Bulldog was one of my favorite wrestlers but every time I bought his figure, the shoulders were so tight that I couldn't move his arms. So, I cracked open the torso and replaced his shoulders. I gave him smaller shoulders. Now he moved perfectly. The best part is that the smaller shoulders don't even look weird. The Rock: We have all seen these already by now, but here's mine. I think it looks pretty good. I was going to use a DM Rock for this but since I was already doing these I decided to use the Rock I already had. Scott Hall: I posted my original version a while back but this is an update with a new torso. I gave him a Jake Roberts torso to give him that trademark hairy chest look. The original plan was to give him these decals that I drew myself, but instead I decided to get some stuff from Ralph. I'm waiting on Razor Ramon gear and Scott Hall gear, so that I could always switch it up. I also had to switch his left arm, because of something bad that happened to the original. This torso wasn't staying closed so I had to use this special glue to seal it shut. This glue dries in like a minute and there was only a little left in the tube. So I had to squeeze hard to get the last bit out and it squirted a bit. Some of the glue landed on his arm and glued the elbow pad on so I couldn't even move the original arm anymore. It was so strong that I couldn't even get the pad off anymore. I had a little scare when I snapped the torso shut and a bit of glue shot up and almost hit me in the eye. Luckily it missed and hit my eyebrow. Here is a preview of my wrestling gear Vince McMahon. It's the RTWM Rock pants, with a William Regal torso, and Steve Austin arms. I added a shirt I got from Ralph a while back. Now I just need someone to sell me a Mattel Vince head.
