When you crack a torso and put it all back together, will be be durable/playable? It depends on how good the crack was. Ive had some where you cant tell I cracked it, but some where they wont even stay together. I fear this. I tried two torsos now and I've been patient and used an ass ton of hot water and I'm destroying it. I think I'm just going to put this idea to rest

I usually let it cool abit before cracking them. I found if they're still soft its easier to destroy them.
So boiling water, let cool a bit, crack, boiling water, let cool a bit, crack. never successfully cracked a basic though.. haha

I score the neck and hips with a blade and once it separates the hot water can separate the pegs easier. I have some pics of a cracked basic if wanted

When you crack a torso and put it all back together, will be be durable/playable? As others have said, it depends on how well you do it (...best method is trial and error - try and get your hands on some really cheap/used Elites to practice on!). I've done it 2 or 3 times and the legs and especially arms are always a bit looser, but you can still play with/pose them.

That head doesn't look right, to be perfectly honest. Is it a Cena head? Everything else about it looks good though!

Does anyone have an instruction guide or link for removing hairpieces? I know I've seen one on somewhere on here before. I'm thinking of taking the hair from Rated R exclusive Edge and putting on an Elite 1 head. I'd be interested in this too. I've heard just boil the head and let the glue get loose but more info would be appreciated or if there's a link to a thread.

I don't know why, but every time I look at that Barry Head sculpt I think of Shane Douglas.

Has anybody ever tried putting a regular torso on B5 Hurricane legs to create a 2005 look?

Ponytail might need some shortening, but otherwise, good idea!

I think a bit of modification and the DH smith head will definitely work.

Nothing too major here. I didn't like how the plain black vest looked on Barry, so I painted it up to try and match how it looked for most of his career. The brown is a different shade, but I'm much happier with the vest being painted. Now I may switch to some white wrist tape and a black glove.
