All this ROH talk is ironic seeing as I just finally (almost) wrapped this bad boy up tonight....  Made myself a Bryan Danielson to match up with CM Punk. All I have to do is add the stars on the sides of his boots and he's done! I love these customs man. They are great. They have a vintage feeling to them. I really like it. They look just like what they did look like when they had there match. Are you going to make a Rick "The Dragon" Steamboat ref for these two figs?  |

@slappy, very nice replica of my bubba ray but your missing the pads and tape if you want it to match mine! Haha. Nice man, don't recall seeing yours but I'll give credit where credit Is due buddy. Thanks for the idea and nice fix up. I really like the red flannel but I think I'm going to try and find a grey camo top or maybe a black biker vest. I was joking. There was an argument a few pages back where a guy was complaining that he wasn't being given credit by people using ideas he has had. I was really just mocking him. Sorry for the confusion. |

I'm back after hiatus. Heres some barbed wire. This should probably be in the accessories board. Regardless, your barbed wire looks great! I'm currently working on myself, do you have trouble with the barbs sliding up and down the wire? I'm assuming you made the main wire then added the barbs. I find that's the easiest way to do it but I have trouble getting them tight enough, and they slide. |

That Virgil is incredible.
The crazy thing about it is that even though the head wasn't originally Virgil, it's really at about the same level of resemblance as a lot of Mattel scans. I've seen some customs using Jakks heads that looked too much like the wrestler to fit in with some of Mattel's other figures that just have a passing facial resemblance (i.e. Big Boss Man).
You know, provided that it wouldn't be too small, I'd even go out on a limb and say that the Hasbro Virgil was one of the handful of Hasbro figures with a good enough head sculpt that, with some modding and painting, might possibly work on a Mattel body.
It also just dawned on me that you could probably even come up with an easy Sensational Sherri conversion to go with M$M, too.

Thanks guys It's 20 guage wire, You pull out a long piece, and fold it in half and twist the 2 pieces together. And then I added the barbs, same type wire. Loop it around the main wire 3 times and trim to get the two barbs. You can either use super glue to hold the barbs in place, but I just crimped the barb wrap with pliers so they don't move. |
