i think I have his old Jakks ones they'll do for now, but you'll eventually have to get 2 Mattel olympic barbies for the medals, it's better cause it has a Red, White, and Blue ribbon, the plastic is shiny gold, doesn't have the WWE symbol plastered on the plastic-y bit and it's by Mattel IMO the jakks one is just fine

I finished this a while ago but been slacking on posting it and I cannot for the life of me find the reference picture but I painted the newest Elite Macho Man based off of a Halloween Havoc themed Slim Jim promo shot from 1998! Anywho here it is!

KatF'Nylin Proper paint consistency is key for brush strokes. When you’re doing finer scrolls, filigree or line work, the paint must flow easily from your brush, so more water should be added to it. Blending paint thoroughly into your brush is a step you do not want to skip. With those Michael's brand paints, it’s important to rinse your brushes often. Since painting brush strokes means loading your brush well with paint. References are the second most important item when you are painting anything, especially personality's. Homicides tattoo's look less detailed than in actuality. Which I mentioned above, proper paint is key for those features. I searched for the attire you based the figure from but I only came up with this image. If so, you are missing a bit of detail, not to mention his other forearm tattoo. I've already discussed how I felt about the head scan choice so I will not suggest anything here.
The Outsider Are you planning to remove the arm bands on the Kurt Angle? The Undertaker is a interesting part swap. However I personally never liked the JAKKS R-3 Tech head scan.
villians I like the attire choice. However I do see a couple of places on the lower calf that needs a bit more orange.

The head is his R3 Raw Draft head. And the colour skin colour looks good. The denim jacket is an old jacket that came with a Chris Jericho figure (I believe it was silver.) painted blue. I've been using it for about 12 years now! As for the arms I'll be swapping them for Bryan's arms in the near future.

Had some time to work on some stuff for others today, took some pics of some lingering prototypes I have in the works for my personal collection. Kurt Angle Prototype, I can't decide on an attire, I just know I don't want to paint 50 tiny stars and I don't want the crap John Cena shoes. Gonna lower his head a little bit too. Shane O'Mac prototype. I'm still on the fence about this jersey, I wish it were longer. Wrist tape will be removed later. That Angle is gonna be sick when it's done! I'm very jealous. My Angle looks very similar except I used a TTL cloth singlet and an RA head. If only I could find that Havoc Unleashed head, I'd truly be satisfied with it. I think Shane looks great! I can see the head being a little big if next to a regular Mattel, but that's a small detail, imo. I think the pants are just fine for him, but I agree the shirt needs to be longer. I think it would look much better that way, however you have to work with what you have. I was a big fan of Shane-O Mac back in the day, so my eyes lit up as soon as I saw it lol. Swapped out Raven's Hair. I liked the way it was but the new hair goes better with the era you're going for. Very nice work. Your lighting setup is really cool, I may have to look for some of those lights for my arena. May I ask where the rest of your entrance is from? Man... This place has been dead... I dont think I posted this one yet, so hopefully it will liven up the thread a bit. Well, there goes my plan of making a Sandman hahaha... man, that is awesome! What are you planning for a shirt? The detail on the tattoos is just killer. What did you use? Much better! You made an awesome figure even better, great job! So, I saw people was posting their Kurt Angles... Angle definitely needs some work but so far so good. I've enjoyed seeing all the "classic" Angle figures on here lately. I really dig 'Taker! I loved that era of the Deadman. I think there is a better head to use but sometimes you can't be picky. Awesome Road Warriors! As much as I love the vanilla figures, what you've done makes them look so much better! I feel like Animal could go for a more bulky torso, but I'm not complaining. I think you did a great job. Picked up an extra Elite 23 Undertaker today. I decided to attempt an Attitude Era inspired fixup. Its not 100% accurate but I think it looks cool. I thought about maybe adding the straps across his shirt and on his legs, but may not as if Mattel does an this era Taker I'd like to be able to easily convert this one to a gray glove Undertaker custom. Love it! If I eventually pick up E23 'Taker I'm going to do the same thing. It's more of the Undertaker I grew up with. Respect the hell of you classicdas, both for your work here and your level head. I will repeat my point from earlier: I appreciate constructive criticism, but he was not being constructive at all. He took (sorry my mind slips) the first person's comments and then just was a jerk about it. That said, I agreed with them that it was imperfect and incomplete. So, I figure I might as well post the finished product (hopefully no one takes personal offense to this again): [/quote] I'm a little iffy about the head but otherwise I really like it! I knew the Shield vest would come in really handy.

Looks great! The only thing I could recommend to you is to change the black wrist tape to white as well instead of just leaving it black. Watch smackdown thats how his tape is

@villains, awesome idea for a Macho Man fixup. Looks great!
And that Ryback is a perfect example of how much of a difference accurately painted eyebrows and facial hair makes.

Your lighting setup is really cool, I may have to look for some of those lights for my arena. May I ask where the rest of your entrance is from? Thanks man, The rest of the entrance is that huge flex force arena, I found it at K-mart over the weekend greatly reduced for $8.50, mainly bought for the ladder and table (ladder wasn't what I expected but turned out to be really cool anyways as it's made to breal/bend up into a U shape. I plan on replacing the screen with a custom logo and add a light inside so it looks like a screen. Idk where the 2 metal pieces I have at a diagonal come from. The ecw style ramp and everything else has just been stuff my buddy gave to me that he had laying around. What makes this head look so much better then the default? Looks like the skip shefield head instead of ryback with a proper paint job. Mainly they eyebrows are done right. unlike popular belief, not every one sharpies their eyebrows on like Mattel would have you believe.
