What a crazy turn of events over the past day or so, the Sabres could have been nearly eliminated by now and yet they find themselves back in playoff contention after an amazing comeback against the Leafs.

If Detroit can flip the switch in the Playoff's and remain healthy I can see us going all the way. And Vancouver and Nashville are my picks if Detroit goes down. I'd rather face Philadelphia though, sorry LLLBD, I dont think I could take another Pens/Wings Final Pens/Wings III would be so epic It would be epic but I dont think my heart could take it. lol

Well, I mean it would be one hell of a series, at least storyline wise. While not even mentioning the whole Crosby situation, it'd just be two pretty good teams meeting in the finals for the third time in like...six years, with each one owning a finals victory over the other.
But alas, the Pens will get swept by the Flyers in the first round, with the Flyers, though crippled, leaving nothing but the bloodied corpses of the Pens players in their wake, probably with the heads of Crosby, Malkin and Vitale on sticks as they storm into either Boston or New Jersey. Haha.

So, fattic brought up a good question to me a couple of days ago. Aside from your own team, is there any team you'd like to see win it all this year? Not necessarily a team that you are a fan of or anything, but just a team you think it'd be cool to raise the Cup if your team can't?
Personally, I'd love to see the Predators or the Coyotes win it all of the Pens can't. I mean, the fact that I dislike every Eastern team in the playoffs right now except for the Pens aside, I'd love to see a team that gets a "Who?" sort of reaction from people to win it all. A team that, no matter how good they may be, they never really get any praise or recognition because of the Flyers, Bruins, Pens, Canucks, Red Wings and Rangers being the media darlings.
Well, them, or if just Marty could win the Cup for the Devils if the Pens can't...that would be ok with me too. Haha.

Honestly, it would either be Vancouver or Nashville from the West and probably Philadelphia or a team like Florida in the East. I'd like to see Vancouver win it all if Detroit cant, even if the majority of their fanbase would be unbearable afterwards. Or Nashville especially. They deserve it with everything they have done with what they have been given the past few seasons.

For the love of God, if the B's can't repeat this year, let it be the Sharks.

Ugh...the Pens had better somehow get out of their funk that they've been in and pick up the win tonight. I mean, the win would help them lock up the fourth seed, but I really don't want to have to listen to Rangers fans talk about the President's Trophy all of next season. I may enter an irreversible state of insanity.

You're on the side that wouldn't burn Vancouver down after winning the Cup. Haha.

Haha. I mean, that was absolutely ridiculous. Living in a college town, I see couch burnings here and at West Virginia University no matter if they won or lost...but I fear for the actual city of Vancouver if they somehow win the Cup.

And that's a W, and Buffalo should be eliminated from playoff contention.
Penguins on Saturday.
