Dammit Chicago, I'm tired, why did you have to tie it?

I won't lie, I love Thornton's face in that picture. It's hilarious.
Meanwhile, the backup goalie's just sort of staring at him. I would imagine he was just shaking his head in disappointment. Haha.

I'm still stunned Weber didn't get suspended. This is why the NHL will never move forward with player safety. Brendan Shannahan is a just as, if not a bigger moron than Campbell.

Consol Energy Center?
It's our house now.
Dueling hat tricks.
2-0.

Come from behind and win lots of games in the season and the postseason... hmm... remind anyone else of the 2008 Phillies? Wonder what the excuse will be this time around? Probably that "Bryzgalov's glove was over the line and Letang's goal should've counted". Also can't wait to hear what the NHL Network crew has to say, considering they all picked Pittsburgh without hesitation. Excellent showing from the Comeback Kids tonight. Like Tocchet said, if the Penguins lose tonight's game in a comeback fashion... they most likely are looking at a series loss. The energy on Sunday at Wells Fargo is going to be INSANE. Just hope that the Flyers can keep their foot on the gas. I don't mind losses, as long as they are hard fought games. I fully expect to see Johnson in net for Game 3, which I can't say I mind. Flyers veterans are producing, Flyers rookies are producing, Bryz is looking SOLID in net (minus the first periods), Flyers defense (and Coots) are finishing checks and playing a hard hitting game... just can't let up 5 goals anymore... or can they?

God, I hate Kris Letang SO much! If he wasn't dropping tonight, he was running his mouth and not having the balls to go toe to toe with Simmonds, or Talbot.

That "trucks" name must've been Matt Read... license plate number 24. Haha!

Holy hat tricks Batman.
Despite the way the last couple regular season games and the first two playoff games have gone, I'll never be comfortable with them giving up 2-3 goals in the first period.

Hmmm...one team up 2-1 in the 3rd period with the other team getting good pressure...I feel like I've seen this before.

Seriously, who tries to punch a goalie in the head while he's wearing his mask?

You must have missed it in game one when Toews was trying to kill Smith in 100 different ways throughout the game. Haha.

I'm just utterly confused as to how you can (as a professional team) give up consecutive multi-goal leads in a playoff game?
Where Bylsma is going wrong is that he is trying to push his system the entire game. I'm sorry but playing balls to the wall for 60 minutes in a playoff game with a 2 or 3 goal lead is not gonna help you, its just gonna wear your team down instead.
The Pens defense has been lacksidaisical after the first/second periods. Michalek, Orpik and Letang who are usually shut down and physical guys, are getting lazy and not doing any sort defensive work, and it shows.
I give props to Philly though which disgusts me to say. They hang in there and play the rope-a-dope. Letting the Pens come out and wear themselves down, only to capitalize once they get burnt out is brilliant, yet I just cannot fathom how Bylsma has not seen this yet.
Expect Game 3 to be ALOT more physical and not as much as a score fest.
Here's to Crosby continuing his dominance of the Wells Fargo Center!

Wings win 3-2 and tie up the series headed back to Hockeytown. I wanted at least one win coming home, so I think this can play into Detroit's advantage as long as they can beat Nashville in the next two games.

According to Kristin Reid, Daniel is out for the series. Go yourself Duncan Keith.
