I saw a few videos of the misfits in WCW, namely Jerry Only in a cage match with Dr Death with a run in by the misfits. What were they doing there, when were they there and how long were they there also did anything big happen? *LIVE PERFORMANCE*  |

I don't recall them performing. I think they came in helping out Vampiro and didn't stick around too long

If I remember correctly, Jerry Only did some stuff with Vampiro, and I know Vampiro teamed with ICP and Great Muta as The Dead Carnival.

Vampiro had become friends with them and brought them in for an angle. Jerry Only even fought Dr. Death in a cage match. They poured BBQ sauce in Oklahoma's eyes. They mostly feuded against Dr.Death/Oklahoma. I think Only and Vampiro fought Berlyn and the Wall too.
It's pretty bad.

If I remember correctly, they were introduced in a backstage segment. Jerry Only was hitting on Daffney asking if he could see her back tattoo. She bent down to let him get a closer look, then she screamed at him & ran off.
They never did a live performance while in WCW.
Jerry Only lives in Sussex County, NJ. He & Doyle usually show up at Chiller Theater every year. Doyle ended up marrying Gorgeous George. They also live in Sussex County.

One of many reasons WCW tanked...pay a band and don't have them perform. Wrestlecrap did an interview with Graves a few years back on the whole ordeal, hopefully I can find it somewhere.

Or they get crappy bands and overpay them to mime *KISS*. Misfits were pretty big at the time, of all the bands they could've got to play they didn't get Misfits. what a joke. God knows what WCW were thinking getting a rap group in. I'd swear they paid the people front row to hop about as ridiculous as they did. |
