I've noticed that the commentary on the old 1998 episodes of RAW on WWE Classics on Demand seems edited, when they get shots of the commentators in the background, their mouth and actions don't match what they're saying, and the episodes all together seem edited or something, like they move to quickly through...kinda like TNA. My question is, does WWE edit these episodes for some reason or am I just imagining this?

Back then Raw wasn't live every week. They would tape live Monday and tape the next week's episode on Tuesday. Every 2 weeks they would repeat the process. They would commentate at the Tuesday Taping, but do voice overs later on to make changes they didn't like or to keep up with current events to make it seem like they were live. That's probably why the voices don't match. You could notice it every so often on Smackdown too.
