While not much is known of the Power Fight League, PFL Chairman, Aaron Chavis has issued this following statement."I am proud to announce the arrival of the Power Fight League. The new age of MMA is among us. I have been a big fan of MMA since it's beginning and now I'm super happy to be in charge of an MMA company myself. I've already got a lot of guys signed and I am looking all over the world for more fighters. I want to make this the biggest and best MMA promotion out there. Our first show will take place on November 11, 2011. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Power Fight League is here and it is here to stay. I hope you all come along on this journey with us. Thank you."

Earlier today, PFL Chairman Aaron Chavis Tweeted the following, it has since been removed."Steven Pryor/Jack Fredette for PFL 1. Heavyweight fight to be announced tomorrow. Stay tuned."It appears as though he tweeted it without official confirmation on the fight. We will have more shortly.
