World Heavyweight: Bobby Roode got his title shot at Turning Point against “The Cowboy”, but it was a losing effort, after falling to the “Last Call.” Even though only minutes before, Roode had the pin on Storm after the Pay-Off, but the ref was distracted by Kurt Angle, of all people. Roode then chased Angle off, but was met by the Last Call when he came in the ring. On the next iMPACT, Roode said he had no hard feelings for Storm before Angle interrupted and stated he never got his rematch, and he would cash it on at Final Resolution. Roode argued it until Sting came out and announced that tonight a triple threat match will take place with the winner facing Storm at Final Resolution. Angle asked who the third man was, and Sting said it was the man who beat you at Turning Point, AJ Styles! Later in the night, Immortal interfered in the match, giving Angle the win, but Sting interjected himself into the situation and said it would not go down like that, so we will have a four corners match at Final Resolution! Angle was lived as Fortune wished each other luck.
Hardy/Jarrett: At Turning Point Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett had a match where Hardy was able to defeat Jarrett with a Swanton Bomb. Jarrett was irate after the loss and he viciously assaulted Jeff on the next episode of IMPACT WRESTLING. The following week they met in a tag match with Jeff teaming with Gunner and Scott Steiner to take on Hardy and The Pope and Devon. Jarrett picked up the win after nailing Hardy in the head with his guitar. Jeff took a microphone and told Hardy he was tired of people like him coming into HIS Company and giving it a bad name. Jarrett said he has put everything into this company, and he won’t let someone like him ruin it! The following week the tables were turned as Hardy was the one who attacked Jarrett after his victory over The Pope. Jarrett was hit by two Twist of Fates and two Swanton Bombs before Hardy was restrained by security.
Anderson/Joe: Joe has become more violent and ruthless than ever before. In the weeks leading up to Turing Point, Joe assaulted many wrestlers, such as Eric Young, Robbie E, The British Invasion, and others. Crimson told Dixie Carter that he could stop Joe, but at Turing Point the streak was finally broken as Joe pinned him with the Muscle Buster. The next night, it appeared that Mr. Anderson would be the next victim, but the “***hole” fought back. Anderson nailed Joe with multiple chair shots and finished him with the Mic-check before proclaiming “Joe could smack all those little bitches around, but this is bunghole country! And this is no country for you, Joe!” Joe went on to assault Anderson backstage the following week, telling Anderson his words are spoken with his fists before slamming Anderson’s head into the wall. They fought to a double count-out the next week before being restrained by security. Sting then finally booked these two for a match at Final Resolution.
Van Dam/Daniels: The night after Turning Point Rob Van Dam defeated Christopher Daniels and a great match on IMPACT WRESTLING. The next week Daniels called out Van Dam and said he already went through this with AJ Styles, and he won’t go through it with RVD too. Daniels says he won’t go down a huge downward spiral like before; he’s just going to congratulate Van Dam on the victory and challenge him to another match. Van Dam accepts, but suddenly Daniels hits him with the Angels Wings before leaving! Van Dam was out as Daniels walked up the ring, smirking, saying he can’t lose to ANYBODY.
Aries/Kazarian: On the IMPACT WRESLTING following Turning Point, Kazarian won a eight man over the top X Division battle royal to earn a shot at Austin Aries at Final Resolution. (Other men in the match were Alex Shelley, Brian Kendrick, Kid Kash, Jesse Sorensen, Anthony Nese, Zema Ion, and Mark Haskins)The following week Austin Aries deemed Kaz “unworthy” of facing him for the Austin Aries Championship, as he called it, and he wanted Kaz to prove himself by defeating two people at the same time. Kazarian accepted as Austin nailed him with the microphone before Kid Kash came out, starting the match. They beat down on Kaz, even though he did not go down without a fight. Eventually Kash hit the Brian-buster and Aries picked up the scraps.
Sky/Kim/Rayne: The Knockout Division has turned into utter chaos. Karen Jarrett had at first also involved Mickie James in the match, but after a tag match Kim and Rayne attacked Sky and James, focusing the assault on James. James’ arm was reinjured in the ruthless assault and she was pulled from the match. The next week Kim and Rayne agreed to make sure one of them walk out Knockout Champion, of course that alliance didn’t last long in the match, but they were quickly attacked by Velvet Sky, and a three-woman brawl took place all over the IMPACT WRESTLING zone. The next week Velvet defeated Rayne with a backslide before being hit by the Eat Defeat from Kim.
Mexican America/Ink INC.: Ink INC. got another shot at the tag titles along with Devon and Pope at Final Resolution. Mexican America stole the win after hitting Moore with one the tag titles. The next episode of IMPACT WRESTLING Ink INC. was out for revenge and they defeated Mexican America in a non-title bout. Sting granted them another title shot, but to ensure there would be no cheating, there would be no rules! Therefore the match would be a street fight.
Gauntlet: The gauntlet was added as a bonus match to the Pay Per View, even though a lot is going on in the match. Matt Morgan is currently on his quest for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, since he could not get his shot when he was injured back in the summer. Crimson is just as hungry though, so both men have been going back and forth trying to impress management enough to give them title shots. Meanwhile, on the 10/27 episode of IMPACT WRESTLING, Immortal, which is now nothing more than an alliance than a stable, took out Abyss by throwing him off the stage through two tables. Bully Ray’s match against Matt Morgan at Turning Point, Abyss returned with a vengeance and took out all of Immortal. The following week Abyss assaulted Ric Flair a put him through a table with a black hole slam. Immortal has not been able to control the Monster since his return and it seems like nobody can. Pope and Devon continue to team as Rob Terry has been feuding with Eric Young alongside “his dude” Robbie E.

Heads up... I've taken out some of the stupid and pointless stuff in TNA. (The storyline with Eric and his son..... Knockouts Tag Titles......) This is pretty much a fantasy diary and I wouldn't expect this to be too realistic.
It would suck if it was too.

“Sorry About Your Damn Luck”
The show opens up with stills of Sunday’s Pay Per View event; Final Resolution. It mainly focuses on the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship bout with James Storm retaining with some questionable actions against his best friend and tag team partner, Bobby Roode. We then head straight into the Impact Wrestling open video before the pyro display begins.
We are greeted by Mike Tenay and Taz who hype up a huge Final Resolution fallout broadcast. Tonight we will hear from Bobby Roode and Matt Morgan along with Mr. Anderson calling out Samoa Joe. Then, in the ring Abyss, Matt Morgan, and Crimson team up to face Immortal, Austin Aries in action against Jesse Sorensen, Knockout Champ Velvet Sky and Tara versus Gail Kim and Madison Rayne, D’Angelo Dinero taking on Mr. Anderson, Rob Van Dam will battle Jeff Jarrett, and in our main event Robert Roode, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, and Jeff Hardy battle it out for the right to face the Impact Wrestling World Champion! All here tonight on Impact Wrestling! They are interrupted by the theme song of Bobby Roode.
Bobby says he wants to make this quick and painless, so he wants James Storm to get out here right now. The theme of the Impact Wrestling World Champion hits to a mixed reaction. When Storm finally gets to the ring Bobby tells him he’s been screwed over by Eric Bischoff and Kurt Angle recently, but he never thought his tag team partner and best friend would stab him in the back like he did on Sunday. He says what happened at Turning Point was understandable, but on Sunday he just smashed a beer bottle right over his head. Storm smirks and he tells Roode he did what he had to do on Sunday because Bobby needed to know to back off and get over the fact that he isn’t the World Champ. Roode looks confused as James says he could see it in his eyes the night that he won the title; Bobby was simply jealous of the victory, and he only did what he knew would be coming to him unless he did it first. Roode tells him he would have never screwed James out of the title like how he did. Bobby says he accepts the fact that James did what he could simply not do, and that is beat Kurt Angle. Now, if he can get another shot at the title at Genesis, he won’t scoop to any dirty tactics like using a weapon, he’ll either win or lose like a man. James shakes his head before simply saying he just couldn’t believe that before dropping the microphone and leaving. Roode is left speechless in the ring as Storm heads up the ramp.
Up next, X Division Champion Austin Aries and Jesse Sorensen kick off tonight’s in-ring action!
Break
Backstage Roode is seen talking with AJ Styles. Roode is heard saying “I don’t know what has gotten into him.” AJ says he doesn’t either, but you, he, and Kazarian are still close as brothers. Bobby nods his head yes and tells AJ much like on Sunday, tonight the best man will when. AJ agrees and the two shake hands before walking off to prepare for the huge match tonight.
Non Title; X Division Champion Austin Aries def. Jesse Sorensen; Austin Aries picked up the win over the Impact Wrestling rookie with a Brainbuster.
Following the match Aries grabbed a microphone and said once again “I proved that nobody deserves a shot at the Austin Aries Championship” on Sunday. Austin talks about how he crushed Kazarian in the ring much like how he did to Brian Kendrick and Alex Shelley before, and like this little rut in the ring. Aries dropped the microphone and went to continue the assault on Jesse, but Kazarian quickly ran out to make the save. Kaz dropped him with a flurry of punches before the champion escaped the ring, high tailing it with the title.
Hulk Hogan is seen talking to Sting backstage, saying that he has a big announcement to give next week right here on Impact Wrestling!
Break
Velvet Sky and Tara are seen conversing backstage, getting ready for tonight’s tag match. They agree to get the job done tonight as they continue to walk to the ring. The camera pans to the arena for our next match.
Gail Kim and Madison Rayne def. Velvet Sky and Tara; Kim stole the win tonight as Rayne hit a cheap shot on Velvet from behind, allowing Gail to hit Eat Defeat on the champion.
Tara rushed Gail Kim and Madison Rayne out of the ring following the bell. The duo celebrated their win on the outside while Tara checked on Velvet Sky.
We see Bully Ray, Scott Steiner, and Gunner backstage. Gunner asks how they are supposed to control Abyss after the rampage he’s been on. Scott asks back how the hell are they supposed to know. Scott says Abyss is fat, they could probably just throw down a trail of hamburgers leading him to an ambush, as long as Bully doesn’t eat them all. Bully tells them before to shut the hell up because they stopped Abyss on Sunday when they used teamwork to get him out of the gauntlet. Bully says tonight they are going to have to go out as a team and destroy Abyss once and for all. Scott nods and says “Merry Christmas, you stupid son of a *****!” before Immortal leaves.
Up next, Matt Morgan, Crimson, and Abyss battle Immortal.
Break
A video package is shown of Matt Morgan racking up multiple wins in the BFG series before having to drop out due to injury. The video focuses on Morgan’s quest to get a title shot and it looking brighter than ever with the Gauntlet match win at Final Resolution. Before the match Matt Morgan announced his quest is almost over because next week he will be challenging James Storm for the Impact Wrestling World Championship.
Abyss, Matt Morgan, and Crimson def. Bully Ray, Scott Steiner, and Gunner; A solid six man tag here, with Morgan and Crimson trying to out-do each other. Abyss was out for vengeance, and he eventually brawled to the back with Bully Ray. Morgan picked up the win with the Carbon Footprint on Steiner.
Morgan celebrates the victory as we see Abyss and Bully Ray brawling backstage. Abyss throws Ray over the table as the supplies spill everywhere. He goes to continue the beating, but Ray grabbed a chair and rammed Abyss in the gut with it before smacking it over his back. Bully goes for a headshot, but Abyss knocks it out of his hands. Bully retreats, but Abyss takes him down with a giant clothesline. Abyss drills multiple punches into Ray’s skull before picking him up by the throat. Eventually, Steiner and Gunner arrive and they hit Abyss from behind. A two-on-one beat down occurs until Gunner goes off to grab a chair. Abyss fights back against Steiner and throws him into multiple tables. Gunner smacks Abyss in the back with the chair, but Abyss grabs him and throws him into the wall. Abyss leaves the scene having with Immortal on the floor, Bully starting to stir.
Up next, Mr. Anderson takes on D’Angelo Dinero.
Break
A video package is played showing Jeff Hardy’s long 2011 year. We see quick comments from Hardy saying he wants to end this year on a good note by becoming Number One Contender for the Impact Wrestling World Championship and winning the championship for the third time.
Eric Young is seen backstage with the TV title when Robbie E and Rob Terry approach him. Robbie E tells Young that he is getting pretty damn tired of all his antics, it’s finally time he got a TV title shot. Eric tells him he beat him in three straight non-title matches, so he doesn’t deserve one! Eric tells him he’s a little busy as the champion of Television, and he needs to make sure all of these Christmas specials get aired. Robbie E looks at him strangely while Rob Terry tells Eric that wasn’t a request, it was a demand. Robbie slaps Eric in the face before the two leave, leaving Young bewildered.
Mr. Anderson def. D’Angelo Dinero; In a No Surrender 2010 rematch, Anderson picked up the win once more with the Mic Check. The match went to a break a little after it began.
Following the match Mr. Anderson celebrated his win until the theme of Samoa Joe hit across the Impact Wrestling Zone. Joe told Anderson he heard he was calling him out tonight, and he’s right here. Anderson puts his finger up, Joe not amused, before doing his signature taunt as the microphone lowers. Anderson says he’s damn right he is calling him out. He goes on to talk about how Joe busted him open on Sunday after a steel chair shot… causing their match to end in a DQ. Anderson reassures Joe that this IS “***HOLE COUNTRY” and here, you do not make a man bleed his own blood without repercussions, just ask Bully Ray! Joe smirks and says he’s right here, and there is no one and nothing in-between them. Anderson responds by telling Joe there is something between him walking out of here and him not even being able to walk and that is… “MMMMMMMIIIIIIIISSSSSTTTTTTTTTEEEEEERRRRRRRR ANDERSON!” The crowd cheers as Joe swings a punch, but Anderson ducks and nails the Mic Check! He grabs the mic again and leans over Joe….. “ANDERSON!”
Backstage we see Dixie Carter asking Hulk Hogan about his “huge announcement” next week. Hogan tells Dixie it’s a brand new concept that will change the main event landscape in Impact Wrestling forever! Hulk leads Dixie to a private room to discuss more as we head to a break.
Break
We return with Jeremy Borash standing by with Rob Van Dam. Jeremy asks Van Dam about his match against Jeff Jarrett up next. Rob tells Jerry he’s had a bit of a rollercoaster of a year, from being betrayed by Jerry Lynn to suddenly getting caught in this mess with Christopher Daniels, but up next, he is going to look forward to the New Year and finally regain the World…, but suddenly he is ambushed by Jarrett and Daniels! The two put the boots to him before they pick him up and carry him out to the arena. They continue the assault there, throwing him into the guard rail. They throw him into the ring as Jarrett calls for the bell, but the ref refuses to ring it. Van Dam gets up and tells the ref to ring the damn bell, and against his will he does.
Jeff Jarrett(w/Daniels and Karen Jarrett) def. Rob Van Dam; Van Dam put up a fight, but he was quickly put away by The Stroke from Jarrett.
After the match Jeff leaves with Karen saying he has some business to take care of tonight. Daniels gets in the ring and grabs a microphone on his way. He kneels down and tells Rob he doesn’t accept anything less than a win and at Final Resolution Christopher Daniels did not win. Daniels says he must beat him like how he beat AJ Styles, so next week he is challenging Van Dam to another match right here on Impact Wrestling. Daniels keeps saying he cannot lose into Rob’s ear before dropping the microphone and finally leaving with Van Dam still down on the mat.
Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions Mexican America is shown talking backstage about having no match tonight. Anarquia says they are the best team in the world, and next week they will prove it with an open challenge. Hernandez agrees and says instead of getting held down by everyone else, they’re going to have step over them first. Anarquia smirks and the two high five as the segment comes to a close.
Our main event is up next, who will become the number one contender for James Storm’s Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion?
A video package is shown, hyping up the first Pay Per View of 2012, Genesis!
Break
Sting is shown making his way out for tonight’s main event, saying he is out here to ensure this match goes down fairly.
Bobby Roode def. AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, and Jeff Hardy to become the Number One Contender; Karen Jarrett had come down to ringside, distracting Sting, allowing Jeff Jarrett to slip in and nail AJ Styles with a guitar! Meanwhile, Jeff took himself and Angle out with a huge Swanton Bomb, allowing Roode to pick up Angle hit the Pay Off for the victory!
The crowd cheers as Bobby celebrates his huge victory. Suddenly, the theme of James Storm hits to a mixed reaction. James claims into the ring and has an instant stare down with the number one contender, Bobby Roode. James raises the title high in the air as the crowd cheers, both men locking eyes. Suddenly, we can see Matt Morgan standing on top of the stage, looking at Beer Money, who have yet to end eye contact. Impact Wrestling goes off the air.

Great show and strong opening match. If Sorrenson picked up the win that would have been disapointing but I also hope you give Austin some friends... were was Kash during this whole thing. The knockouts match would have been great to see in person glad Gail won. Velvet - Gail should be good. Glad Mr Anderson won and I hope that Anderson and Samoa Joe can have a nice fight maybe with a stip? Jarrett and RVD would have been mediocre I guess but it was a good result. The main event was great Roode winning was obvious but it will be a good match. I can see Storm beating Morgan to retain because of the current rivalry between the former partners.
Great show I will keep reading...
Please can you check out my diary about David stone please.

- Liking the tension between Roode/Storm. Could be a really good feud. - Happy Aries won. Don't know if I like the fact that Kazarian is still chasing the title. Not a big fan of his. - Rayne/Kim winning is good to further the feud. I can easily see Kim winning the title at Genesis. - Glad Abyss/Morgan/Crimson won. I would like to see Morgan eventually win the title, I just don't think next week is the right time. I can picture Abyss/Bully Ray at Genesis in some sort of hardcore match. - Happy Anderson won. Glad to see Samoa Joe in a main event feud. - I wonder what Hogan's announcement will be? Possibly a brand split? - A decent win for Jarrett. Hopefully, Daniels beats RVD next week. I would like to see Daniels in the World Title picture. - I imagine some team from TNA's past to face Mexican America next week. Looking forward to that. - Huge win for Roode, glad he won. I would like to see Storm win next week and continue the feud with Roode, which I see happening.
Overall- A really good show. A lot of feuds look to be continuing from Final Resolution. Looking forward to Mexican America's match. Hogan's announcement should be great, don't disappoint.
