Wrestling City Mayhem - Episode 08 (10/25/11)

Yeah, I still like what I did in Episode 07, but there was a clear "editing room" disaster in how the final product came out. It should have been a 2-parter. This epi was much better segmented, at least for my taste.

“A pretty poor match leading up to Batista entering” Interesting, really. I like those sort of comments because they make me go back and analyze those segments and it always ends up with me learning something from it

“What is it with all these people entering” Yeah, I don’t think a WCM show ever had so much interference and I hope it doesn’t feel like an overkill. You know, like when somebody uses the f-word a gazillion times in a song.

“It's over? He only got kicked in the face” Batista or Stallone? I guess they sold it good…

I love Rey too, he is my favorite figure/s (I have quite a few, makes you wonder why he always wears that purple suit).

“Hold on, you say you are bad with string? You are a monster” It’s all Mattel flight stands.

“What programme did you use for that blood?” Photoshop brushes that are paint splatters, or splatters of something. They undergo the same “fumetti” process all my pictures go through.

“You should maybe put people in you're empty seats” I should. Maybe there is a reason there are no people there?

“…it is Halloween Havoc no K.” You’re right! Mmmm, maybe Mr. Money has a German inflection? Maybe he’s a nazi!!!!

“Great match for the Eagle belt awesome.” Thanks, will try to make it worthy.

“Nice epilogue. Who was the man?” We will learn soon.

“Longer matches would be good” I know, but I’m actually comfortable in the 60-70 pic range I’m handling right now (I’m counting the entire segment, not just the actual match), and surprised they are not shorter.

“I think every match someone interfered” Yes, it was a “Night of Interference” that may not ever happen so intensely again. Snif, snif…

“also fill those empty seats” Will think about it… really. For real. Like seriously.

Good job on this Izzy! I like the group promo at the start of the show. The Cactus Jack promo was good too. The clips highlighting things really help explain WCM. The Jericho, Benoit, and Flair segment was interesting. I liked just about everything on WCM. I was very happy to see Mysterio win the contenders spot for the Winged Eagle title. The crazy Scott Hall stories look hilarious. lol Frank vs. Ric was cool. Dean Malenko clocked Benoit! Mysterio really beat up Tatanka. Kidman vs. Eddie was a good match. The attack on Eddie was different to say the least. (That's not bad though.) Billy The Baptist?! lol The Winged Eagle Match will have a reply soon. I liked the epilogue and the show as a whole! I'll definitely be checking out more of your work Izzy.

Oh man. It feels like forever since I got to sit down and watch a new WCM. And here we go. The recap segment was nice seeing as how all this happened so long ago (I'm not ragging on you, it's been months since anyone's heard from FIW too.) Nice segment with Angryman being Angry, and Jericho is looking like a wildcard after that. Ric: "I'm Screwed." That was awesome. You seriously should write a comic or a screenplay. I could see that scene in a movie. Haha. I like how you've even managed to give Earl Hebner a character in WCM. Like, I know what kind of quip he would give before I even read it because I know him. That's great writing. I don't know if you've ever seen the old 1960's Dick Tracy cartoons, but your Rey reminds me a lot of Go-Go Gomez from those (that's a good thing in my book.) Frank Stallone and his "Incredible Move!" Frank is definitely 100% WCM, which I love. He really stands out and he's one of a kind. HA! Love Scott Hall being in your fed now! "And then the cops showed up." "Cool Story!" Man that's funny. HAHA! Is it bad that I burst out laughing at the line "No man! Eddie and Scott got me clean!" That was freaking amazing. Stallone and Flair mixing it up until Frank pulls some shoryuken on Flair. Batista: "I'm the sort of thing they ban!" Amazing line. DEAN MALENKO! "Horseman Ride Together" as he punches the man wearing a IV Horseman shirt! Things are getting interesting. How could the cool dude get pinned!? Hall's gonna bail him out! Hehe. Man, that announce table spot was nice. Mel: "Apocalypto" Haha. Perry Saturn shows up: "Who is this man? He looks creepy and dangerous." HA! Albert going all "Death In The Family" on Eddie with that wrench. It's like the attitude era is invading WCM! I'm liking Kidman's new group thing here. It leads well into your Halloween Havoc match, which I need to check out soon too! OOH! Somebodies in the shadows. Good way to end things. It was really nice to see another episode of WCM, and I hope you don't get discouraged with lack of replies recently. Fall and Spring are usually the worst times of the year for pic fedding, but hopefully you enjoyed this reply.

Really like this fed Izzy. The originality is great and you do nice work with the comic style and presenting a wrestlign show simultaneously. All the characters are developed or developing well in a way that keeps them interesting. Same can be said for the storylines. Good recap, and a good ending to keep me tuned in for more. Keep up the great work, this is definately a fed to look out for:)
