I think this exactly what WWE needs now. Barrett a great superstar trying to make a name for himself in the WWE once again but this time by himself. I love this idea. Now this is what i was thinking. I was thinking maybe Barrett and Bryan feud with this leading to Bryan facing Barrett with the MITB breifcase on the line. This would lead to Wade Barrett winning and cashing in at wrestlemania against whoever is the champion at that time. Just sharing my thoughts.
But I love what the WWE is doing with Wade Barrett.

I still can't get behind this guy over a year later. He just seems too bland in my opinion. Thus I'd hate for him to take the MITB from a much more talented person in Bryan

Wade Barrett is the man. But, even though Wade Barrett is the man, I would be disappointed for Daniel Bryan if he loses the MITB briefcase.
That said, Wade Barrett is the man.

I love that they are repushing him. I wouldn't mind his winning the World Title and facing Bryan at Mania

I would love it if Regal gave Barrett this random passionate prep speech before the Rumble match starts. Regal can tell him he had his chance and now its Barrett's time and to go out there and win the damn then Barrett wins it.

Here's my brilliant plan to push Wade Barrett. Wade Barrett wins the title. The end.

I'm really pulling for him to win next year's Royal Rumble. It's already pretty much set in stone that Daniel Bryan is going to cash in at WM, after that announcement it wouldn't make much sense for him to put his MITB contract on the line. But as much as I like Bryan, I like Wade more so I certainly wouldn't complain if that happened.

I think Wade Barrett's decent, but he could be great. He's missing something. Right now he just seems to be 'there'. Maybe it's his generic moveset, maybe it's because he doesn't really seem to have a real gimmick but something's preventing me from enjoying the guy.

I was heavily in to Barrett during the Nexus angle, now I can' get behind him again. When WWE has these guys over and pushed well, then suddenly drops the ball with them, I can just never get back in to them again.

That was preventing me from enjoying him for awhile as silly as that may sound.

I really dont like Barrett. I see nothing interesting in him. Like Austin said, theres nothing about him that screams, "Im Wade Barrett". He bores me in the ring and his finisher is still the same silly move. If he's had a good match it is because of his opponent, IMO.

I like Barrett. The man had me hooked on RAW for the entirety of last summer with some tremendous mic work - I thought he was a great villain in an age where the WWE seriously lacked in the department.
They dropped the ball, of course. It's a recurring theme in the modern-day WWE. They are beginning to re-push him, though, and that's great. I'd love to see him as a main eventer for years to come, seriously.
But as someone eluded to, I think he should adopt a better moveset with some cooler powermoves.

I still think he shouldve beaten Orton at Survivor Series last year. Regardless Im very happy he is getting pushed again.

I'm one of the few who likes his moveset then?
The Wasteland, the Big Boot to the opponent stranded in the ropes, that quick back kick and that Spinning Side Slam are all cool moves IMO. Not to mention I do like a nice Diving Elbow Drop.

Wade is the total package. Got the charisma, got the mic skills, got the ring skills People forget he's only been on the active WWE roster for a little over a year.
He's got a long way to go and is easily one of the guys who will be at the top for years. I like where they are going with him now though, it's what he should be doing. Talking & dominating.

Wade IMO is one the younger guys that i actually like i was behind him on NXT. I find him more likeable then Swagger or Rhodes. YES i said it i dont like Rhodes. I like his move set but i will say this i dont really like Wasteland as his finisher he should just make it a regular move and find something else to use

I'm pretty certain they did this 'Rise of Wade Barrett' thing at least THREE times this past year. Hopefully third time is the charm.

I love his character, I love his wrestling ability, his mic work... But his finisher is dumb. Its the stupidest finisher I've ever seen. "Oh hey I'm gonna toss you off my shoulder hee hee hee!" Dumb.

I believe he will be main person next week at the SmackDown when SmackDown taping in the UK.
I agree, I think he deserve to champion for SmackDown, as I can see he will make a great champion. He certian know how to wrestle, how to work with the audience, etc. So I don't see any reason that he shouldn't become a champion.
