The logo was definitely not covering his chest, how the hell did this happen. It is a small logo and they made it massive.

^Since the ab crunch was in the way, perhaps they felt more comfortable putting the logo in the center instead of making the logo even smaller just so it could fit.
Has there been an on-sale/pre-order date announced?

Stupid rubber...neededto be cloth/fake leather. Exactly! And his tights needed to be lycra/fake spandex, too. You might be better off collecting Barbies or Action Man if you're obsessed with putting cloth items on your toys.

Has there really even been an Elite figure which has the 'fake leather' material used for an accessory? All I can think of is Randy Savage for Defining Moments with his jacket, but that was on a bigger budget. I'm willing to bet this Bret with a rubber jacket is still pushing the limits of their Elite budget, especially considering they won't get a massive return on it as its a limited run figure.

Legends 3 British Bulldog and Brian Pillman's vests used the same material although I'm not sure if Legends get a higher budget than Elites or not.

Ah forgot about those guys, although I always thought Pillman's was rubber too.

Nice, but a cloth jacket and pink glasses would have been much better.

Yah I would have rathered a pink fake leather material jacket as well, seeing how the rubber one doesn't move but it is what it is, I just wish they would get the glasses right. Bret - pink shades, no brainer

They probably couldn't capture all the details of the jacket with cloth.

Even Bret himself agrees that his figure looks better with the pink shades.

Surely smaller kneepads cost less anyway? This. Cost is big factor in Matty cheaping out with vac-metal title belts and other accessories, certainly making the smaller (and likely cheaper) knee pads the standard would help save those precious pennies that could help make figures better. And pink shades instead of silver certainly couldn't cost Mattel any more/less than what they cost now. Makes no sense not to go with the pink. Oh well, I don't mind throwing Dean a few dollars to have a more proper Hit Man.

Mattel can do better, with no additional cost. Pointing it out isn't bitching, it's constructive criticism. It's how improvements get made to toy lines. Being happy about incorrect figures only leads to companies continuing to produce incorrect figures. When they can be released the correct way for the same (or less) cost to Mattel, why not point that out?
