Surely Mattel can see that the Orton pads are much more accurate than the empire state building pads. Seriously.

Would rather have the smaller pads and come on why not the pink sunglasses? Otherwise the figure is awesome...but I wonder why they gave him silver glasses again?

On one hand it's a cool Bret, so props to Ringside for that. However I hope it's not going to be $30 like other exclusives.
No belt? Rubber jacket?

I feel bad for the guys at Mattel, they just can't catch a break. I'm criticising them for the knee pads, others are complaining about Bret and Cody's jackets being made of rubber and fabric, respectively. Poor guys.  |

I Just spent $20 on survivor series miz just for the purple pads to swap on my Macho King, and $10 on Smith for his pink kneepads, I hate these giant pads.... especially when the small and medium pads are sooooo good also i sign for them to stop making stupid obscure choices on characters .... give bret pink shades, its a no brainer |

I've been complaining about them from day 1. I've also done what you did Apoc, stocked up on purple Miz and pink DH smith pads just for those swaps respectively. I even have a few spare Decal Dean pink vinyls for the shades! To Mattel Design Team: guys be reasonable, the large pads are both inaccurate AND not functional in the least!!!! Stop this insanity please |

If this thing has all of the jacket detail and all of the singlet detail, this is def worth $30! This owns the Macho King exclusive and i'm a huge fan of both guys.

I love this figure and in my opinion it would be a great exclusive if the shades were pink, it had the Orton pads, had accurate colors on the jacket and has some sort of accessory but without these things it definitely should have been a regular flashback instead of an exclusive

I guess they're accurate when it comes to guys like Triple H and Big Show in all fairness, but they should be the exception and not the rule. They finally, finally got it right with guys like Bryan and Gabriel, but it's going to be very interesting to see if they screw up their kneepad choice with the next Elite Punk... again.
Please Mattel, make the smaller pad the standard, then break out the big pads when they're actually called for.
Surely smaller kneepads cost less anyway?

The extra price covers the limited run of the figure, not a wealth of accessories. |
