Not to defend the guy, but why is everybody bashing him? Wouldnt you guys be MORE pissed if he said he wanted to continue wrestling?
The guy made a couple of appearances, made a quick buck and more exposure and wants to move on to other stuff. I dont get why people are getting on his case.

I don't care for Jersey Shore or anyone on it, but TNA keeps bringing these no-talents in for a quick ratings boost and for the publicity, BUT IT HASN'T WORKED. They should be more concerned with bringing in wrestling fans. Yeah, publicity can help, but if you keep saying your company is about wrestling, you need wrestling fans to support it. |

They what portray and perpetuate on TV is probably nothing like how they are. About 90% of "Reality TV" is fake. Most of it is producers getting feedback and using that stir up the drama themselves. They call up clubs who would provide these cast members drinks all night, in the hopes of getting good footage. No one wants to see Snooki and Situation walkings dogs and wholeheartedly selling ice cream. Over the course of a month, they are only going to get drunk enough times for the episodes. If you've actually followed the show, there hasn't been much sleeping with strangers or each other going on. I haven't seem them pick a single fight on their own when it's usually been douchey meatheads trying to get famous. I feel like about 95% of the people who bash Jersey Shore watched the first episode or a news piece on the show when the cast all had blown-out-of-proportion characters they actually weren't like and haven't went back since. I don't watch it anymore, but come on, such a double standard that has been easily accepted by society. People of this age love "real-life" drama, especially when it doesn't involve themselves. It's nothing different than what goes on in real life. They just weed out all of the boring stuff for "interesting" TV. And yeah I'm defending Jersey Shore. I'll also defend Kanye West when someone says his music sucks because he's a prick, Justin Bieber when someone says he has no talent, Shows like The Kardishians, or I'll be the first to defend the argument that a lot of black Chicago Electric Blues artists had their music stolen from them from white artists. Hell I'll even defend the other side as well in the same thread.
