Ok thought this would be fun to see what people would say but what is your favorite Survivor Series and why. Also I only choose to use the ones I thought would be consider calling classic
Mine would be Survivor Series 1991
Why Undertaker beat Hulk Hogan for the WWF Title!!!
Plus I can't forget that the two best commentators were on that night
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan.

2002 is my favorite, I guess out of all of these I'd pick 98.

WWE Tag Title match-awesome.
Hardy/Bubba vs 3 Minute Warning in a tables match-awesome.and the reunification of the Dudleys afterward was SUPREME
Steiners debut-just so well done.the crowd in MSG effin loved him.
Big Show vs Lesner.....wow.great stuff
and finally the first and best EC with the result everyone wanted.
and the unsung heroes on the card.....the crowd.just awesome from start to finish.such fond memories of this

1) 1991 - most of the Survivor Matches were good to great, and the main event of Hogan vs Undertaker...
2) 1987 - the first one,was so revolutionary for it's time...funny it was actually made to be a big FU to the NWA!
3) 1992 - while they already started mucking with the traditional tag elimination set-up,it had some great matches, including an outing of newly minted champions Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels, and a super-charged,exciting,and emotional main event of Randy Savage & Mr. Perfect vs Ric Flair and Razor Ramon....

1990 for me - my very first PPV I saw. Warrior & Hogan last sole survivors - I always wondered why they never did that format again with the survivors from each team going onto a match at the end.
Undertaker debut, last HTM PPV appearance (Rhodes too?). Sgt Slaughter's team, Demolition & Perfect, The Warriors team. It had me hooked from then!

96 - Rockys Debut, Bret v Austin, Mankind vs undertaker with paul bearer in the cage above the ring, HBK vs Sid which had a psychotic ending and the fact it was at msg.
98 was good too, really enjoyed the deadly game tornament and didnt see the twist coming at all
the early ones were good but the 20 man tags took forever .. 92 had some good stipulations like casket & nightstick match, 93 sticks in my mind too because i was a big ludvig borga fan lol

Out of the ones listed, 1992. Overall ethier 2001 or 2002. 1992's had the bitchin' HBK-Bret main event which I still think is their best match together and Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair and Razor Ramon which was REALLY good. The love for 2002 has already been said so I'll leave it with 2001 and say that every match felt important and every match was more or less good to excellent.

1989 - First one I watched plus it is one of the best cards top to bottom! I can seriously put this event in at any time and watch it!
1987, 1988, 1990 were all very close seconds.
In the 2000's, 2002 easily followed by 2003 more so for personal enjoyment.

2002 for me. The Elimination Chamber match was easily 5 stars, as was the triple-threat tag team match for the WWE tag team titles. Brock and Big Show had an exciting short match for the WWE Title, Billy Kidman and Jamie Nolbe had a good, quick paced match for the Creusierweight Title, and Scott Steiner debuting and destroying Matt Hardy and Chris Nowitski was awsome.

Pretty hard to vote above 2002, as many people have mentioned a fully great card with terrific matches. 2000 comes close as i'm a sucker for the main event and that year overall.

1996 by far,the Austin/Bret match was a classic,it is a shame it got over shadowed by their other encounter at WM13 (which fair enough is one of the greatest matches in the history of pro wrestling). The crowd was fantastic during the main event aswell. Was a really fun PPV.
