I believe it's 9 AM PT, not ET. Yup. Another couple of hours before they go on sale.

I wonder what makes the site notoriously difficult to deal with? Unless they just get that overwhelmed, it seems odd that the issues have apparently been around for years.

Well the past few sales haven't taken an hour, and thats on days where there are dcu motu and gb releases at the same time. The past few sale days I have been on and done with my order in under 3 min.....it use to take close to an hour cuz their servers would get overloaded, but they seem to have fixed that within the past couple months.

Looks like everyone was off to a great start today! wdym like pissed off? Some people got them because they ordered early enough. Others got an email saying they were on backorder BUT, a lot fo people who got that email called Mattel reps and they were told that they will probably get canceled BECAUSE Mattelshop.com was not suppose to get them in, meaning those who got them were lucky and htose that didn't will not get the packs. If mattelshop.com wasn't supposed to get them to begin with, then they aren't going to get more shipments of them in. The only possibility is that Mattycollector may send any extras over to mattelshop if they aren;t selling, but it may be a stretch. Clear?

I haven't made a single Rockers here and didn't see anything pertaining to Mattycollector's shipping costs in the threads.
Most single items and even a four pack appears to be $8.75 on Matty. Should this be the shipping for the Rockers?
I've also heard alot of people get taxed on Matty!

This is why I only order from Ringside online, an HOUR to complete a simple order of 1 WWE figure 2 pack? It's 2011, not 1998. That is ridiculous. That's comparing apples and oranges, though. If you've ever dealt with a very limited online release of any sort of collectible with a large collector community, you'll find that there are thousands of people trying to buy up a small supply of the exact same thing at the exact same time. Basically it's a bottleneck effect, and the servers just have a hard time handling that sort of traffic. If you go on RSC and try to buy some random figure at any random time, odds are you'll be the only one doing it at that particular minute.

expect it to cost at least $12 on top of the $30 for the Rockers. That's how much tax & shipping cost on top of one He-man figure on Mattycollector

Yeah Chip it's at noon EST when they go online. That said I"m going out for some breakfast with my lazy ass before having to order the Rockers at noon.

Last month 1 Motuc figure cost $8.70 to ship and my tax was $1.82. That's the cheapest shipping which took 12 days to get from CA to CT.

Yeah, it's exactly the same thing that happens on Black Friday; Lots of people waiting in line for a store to open so they can jump on that limited-time deal. It also happened here when RSC put up the Basic/Elite pre-orders during SDCC. It actually took longer to checkout here than it did on Matty's post-SDCC sale!
(Ok, about a half hour left to go, can't wait!)
