For my major PPVs, I usually use the last Smackdown of the week as the first 4 matches on the card of the PPV, and play them in the corresponding arena. Here is my Year 1 Summerslam Results.
1. US Championship Match Zack Ryder (C) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Tyson Kidd
Drew McIntyre was aligned with Tyson Kidd, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger as Vickie's Agents and at one point held all of the championships on RAW. McIntyre was injured when he lost the US Championship to Ryder. Eventually, Tyson Kidd won the title and had many successful defenses until he lost the belt at Money In The Bank. By this time McIntyre had already returned and was no longer aligned with The Agents. The match was a past faced one, with a lot of big double-team and high risk moves. It ended with Ryder hitting a big DDT on Tyson Kidd then McIntyre hitting the Future Shock on Ryder for the pin.
Winner and new Champion: Drew McIntyre (7:02)
2. Singles Match Edge vs. Christian
Christian had been embroiled in a rivalry with Chris Jericho and Randy Orton. Edge had been feuding with WHC Daniel Bryan. At Money In The Bank, Edge lost in the opener and his chance at being World Champion. Later in the night, Orton faced Brock Lesnar for #1 contendership at Summerslam. Christian interfered to distract Orton, but Edge came down to even the odds. The two fought on the outside until finally leaving. This began their feud into Summerslam. Christian dominated most of the match. Christian came close to hitting the Killswitch twice, but Edge countered both times. The match ended with a Spear to Christian off the top rope.
Winner: Edge (8:56)
3. WWE Tag Team Championship Match David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty (C) vs. Cody Rhodes & (?)
After a series of unsuccessful attempts at reclaiming the Intercontinental Championship from John Morrison and William Regal, Rhodes started to look toward the Tag Team Division. He was able to defeat Otunga on the Smackdown before Summerslam, but had no partner. Everyone was shocked when they heard the music of Legacy, and Cody Rhodes, no longer sporting a mask, came from behind the curtain with Ted DiBiase, someone who he had previously fought over the IC title against. This was an even bout, until Rhodes was able to hit the Cross Rhodes on McGillicutty for the pin.
Winners and new champions: Legacy (5:11)
4. Submission Match Kurt Angle vs. Jack Swagger
This match wrote itself. Both Swagger and Angle were fighting for contention for the WWE Championship, but both were unsuccessful. Two very similar styles, backgrounds and move sets lead the two to battle each other. It was Ankle Lock vs. Ankle Lock. Before the match, Jack Swagger appeared from under the ring and attack Angle as he entered the ring. Facing a hobbled Angle, Swagger demonstrated his power, with multiple German Suplexes but Angle was the better counter wrestler. But eventually it took three separate Ankle Lock attempts on the hurt Kurt Angle from Swagger to get the win.
Winner: Jack Swagger (7:43)
5. Fatal-4-Way Steel Cage Elimination Match for #1 Contendership (WWE Championship) Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane vs. AJ Styles
Contenders 3 through 6 competed in a match to determine who would face the WWE Championship at the next PPV. Del Rio and Ziggler beat Kane and Styles in tag action earlier in the week, but all friendships were off. After a smattering of finishing moves, many attempts to climb out the cage were made, but Del Rio was able to sneakily lock on the Cross Armbreaker on Dolph Ziggler for the submission win.
Winner and new #1 Contender: Alberto Del Rio (16:27)
6. Intercontinental Championship Scramble Match William Regal (C) vs. Wade Barrett vs. Samoa Joe vs. John Morrison vs. Justin Gabriel
Regal was forced to defend his championship for the second PPV in a row in a Champinship Scramble. Barrett and Regal started the match off, and in the end, Barrett was able to prevent any pins from occurring in the last 3 minutes to retain the title after he had pinned John Morrison.
Winner and new Champion: Wade Barrett (10:00)
7. Triple Threat Match Undertaker vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
This was expected to be a battle of the titans, but it ended up being proving ground for Sheamus. Three major faces battled it out in a contest that went all over the arena. We saw 5 tombstones, 3 RKOs and 4 Brogue Kicks. In the end, as Orton was about to go for the RKO, he was met with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, then moments later as Undertaker rose, he was also hit with a Brogue Kick and then pinned for the win.
Winner: Sheamus (18:38)
8. Extreme Rules Match Kevin Nash vs. Triple H
Kendo Sticks, Mops, Guitars, Drinks, Steel Steps, Tables and a Slegdehammer all littered the ring as Kevin Nash and Triple H battled it out. Nash returned on the RAW after Money In The Bank, interfering in a HHH/Kurt Angle match. These former friends turned enemies battled it out over the next few weeks until it was determined that the stipulation necessary to contain the two was Extreme Rules. HHH wielded every weapon mentioned to take out Nash, but he was hit with 3 Jackknife Powerboms (two consecutively at the end) to be pinned for the win.
Winner: Kevin Nash (14:47)
9. World Heavyweight Championship Match Daniel Bryan (C) vs. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar had returned to the WWE at the Royal Rumble, but never received a one-on-one World Heavyweight Championship match. Daniel Bryan had been beating everyone on the Smackdown Roster to be the longest reigning champion in the WWE as of Summerslam. But Brock Lesnar would be his ultimate test. Bryan became the counter-wrestler, blocking and avoiding many clotheslines and punches from Lesnar. Agile, technically sound, powerful and resilient, Lesnar broke out of the Lebell Lock twice. It took two come back attempts from Bryan to lock those in, but when Daniel Bryan threw a punch, Brock countered and threw Bryan immediately onto his shoulders for an F5.
Winner and new champion: Brock Lesnar (23:16)
10. WWE Championship Match CM Punk (C) vs. John Cena vs. The Miz
After an inconclusive #1 Contenders match, CM Punk elected to face both John Cena and The Miz at Summerslam. For a change, Cena dominated a lot of the match, pummeling on Miz. Punk wasn't able to get a solid hit or hold on for a good part of the match. Eventually, the playing field evened and all three superstars were hitting finishing moves on each other. Eventually, Punk watched on as Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Cena, then snuck in and hit him with the GTS for the win.
Winner and still champion: CM Punk (22:41)
I had so much fun playing these matches. I even put the difficulty up a notch for the later matches.

I love making the stories up in my head, so I add some detail to the matches.
WWE Over the Limit
United States Championship Jack Swagger defeats Kofi Kingston (c) Jack Swagger returned two weeks earlier, attacking Kingston after his match against Drew McIntyre. The following week, Swagger observed Kingston's match against The Miz, once again attacking him after and declaring that on Sunday, he would take the United States Championship. Swagger then defeated Kingston with the Gutwrench Powerbomb.
Hunico defeats Sin Cara Hunico debuted a month ago after Extreme Rules, attacking Sin Cara and declaring that his identity was stolen back in Mexico, and he's back to claim what was his. In this first in-ring encounter, Hunico was victorious after hitting Cara with the Swanton Bomb, causing the WWE Universe and superstars backstage to question who really deserves the 'Sin Cara' title.
Big Show defeats John Cena The night after Extreme Rules, John Cena took on Kane in a rematch from their bout the night before. The match ended in disqualification when Kane beat Cena with a steel chair. Kane was about to seriously injure Cena when Big Show came for the save, snatching the chair from Kane and chasing him off. John Cena got to his feet to thank the Big Show, only to be attacked with the chair! The following week, Big Show declared that John Cena has been in the spotlight long enough, and it was time for a "big" change (pun intended). Big Show added yet another pinfall loss to Cena's ever decreasing win/loss record, knocking him out with the W.M.D.
World Heavyweight Championship Dolph Ziggler (c) defeats Daniel Bryan After defeating Bryan at Extreme Rules for the World Championship, Ziggler was contracted to give Bryan a rematch, and here it was. Bryan tried to regain his title, but unfortunately for him, Ziggler had his number and made him tap out to the Sleeper Hold, retaining his title.
Brodus Clay defeats Wade Barrett The Funkasaurus has been on one hell of a roll lately, undefeated since his return at Extreme Rules. Wade Barrett was looking to return to action tonight after a few weeks absence, hoping to gain himself a victory, but once again, the jiving superstar cleaned house and crushed Wade Barrett with the What the Funk?! for the victory.
WWE Championship Last Man Standing Match Goldberg (c) defeats Kane Kane became the #1 Contender after he won a Battle Royal just two weeks prior. The Last Man Standing stipulation came about just last week on Raw Supershow when Kane declared that he didn't just want to beat Goldberg, he wanted to destroy him. Goldberg accepted and somehow defeated the Big Red Monster, driving him through a table with the Jackhammer.
Coming up next - WWE Fatal 4-Way!

WWE Fatal 4-Way
United States Championship Jack Swagger (c) defeats Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne & The Miz Evan Bourne and The Miz were added to this match due to their own rivalry which was taking place, while Kingston was receiving his rematch from last month. The match came to an end when Jack Swagger was able to get Kingston alone and hit him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb.
Sin Cara defeats Hunico In their second match, the result was different. This time, Sin Cara was able to overcome his arch-nemesis and prove to the WWE Universe that he does deserve to be called Sin Cara. However, Hunico attacked him after the match and one can only assume that a 'rubber match' is on the horizon.
World Heavyweight Championship Dolph Ziggler (c) defeats Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton & Mark Henry Another Fatal 4-Way encounter, and this time, Dolph Ziggler was able to overcome the odds and defeat three difficult foes. Daniel Bryan nearly has the match half way through, but Mark Henry broke up the LeBelle Lock that Bryan had on Ziggler. Henry dropped Bryan with the World's Strongest Slam and then went to battle with Randy Orton. Ziggler capitalized and locked in the Sleeper Hold on Bryan for the victory.
Intercontinental Championship Cody Rhodes (c) defeats Goldust Brother versus brother. Goldust returned last month and made sure Cody knew what he wanted - the Intercontinental Championship. However, Rhodes wasn't about to let his brother walk in and take it, and he defeated him after hitting a vicious Cross-Rhodes.
Brodus Clay defeats R-Truth Brodus Clay remains undefeated, despite R-Truth showing promise. Truth attacked Brodus Clay last month on Raw and vowed to be the first person to defeat him, but he too fell victim to the What the Funk?! and lost to The Funkasaurus just like everyone else.
WWE Championship Kane defeats Goldberg (c), Big Show & John Cena Big Show and John Cena were completely on their own in this one, fighting their own battle. This allowed Kane to dominate the match and drop Goldberg with not only a Chokeslam, but a Tombstone Piledriver as well, making sure he was not going to get up. Kane then pinned him to become the WWE Champion for only the second time in his career.

Universe Year 1 Championship Stats:
WWE Title: Alberto Del Rio started the year off as WWE Champion, but lost the title to CM Punk at the Royal Rumble. Triple H captured the belt at Elimination Chamber, only to lose it the next night on Raw. Punk held the title all the way through until Fatal Four Way, where he would lose it to Randy Orton (in a match also involving John Cena & Dolph Ziggler)
Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz cashed in on Randy Orton the week before Summerslam to capture the title and would go on to defend it in a Championship Scramble at the PPV. Dolph Ziggler would win the title at Hell in a Cell, in an Armageddon bout (also featuring CM Punk, John Morrison, Randy Orton, John Cena & The Miz) - Ziggler closed out the year as champion, racking up victories against CM Punk & John Cena.
World Heavyweight Title: Randy Orton started the year off as champion, holding the belt until Wrestlemania where he would lose it to Christian (in a Triple Threat also involving Sheamus) Christian held the title until Fatal Four Way, where he would lose it to Sheamus in a F4W bout (also involving Alberto Del Rio & Randy Orton) Daniel Bryan would be the next to hold the belt, winning a Fatal Four Way match at Summerslam (also involving Sheamus, Mark Henry & Christian) and would go on to defend his title, closing out the year having racked up victories over the likes of The Big Show, Sheamus & William Regal.
Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett started off the year as champion and would lose the title to Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble. Bryan held the championship until the Fatal Four Way PPV, where he would lose to Cody Rhodes in a two out of three falls match. Rhodes would defend the championship until Rey Mysterio (who had recently jumped from Raw to Smackdown) was able to dethrone him on Smackdown.
United States Championship: Dolph Ziggler opened up the year as champion, but lost the title to Kofi Kingston at the Elimination Chamber (Kofi was also one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions at the time) Drew McIntyre captured the title at Over The Limit, holding it all the way through until Night of Champions, where he would lose it to John Morrison.
WWE Tag Team Championship: David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty started the year off as champions, but would quickly lose the belts to Air Boom. Big Show & Kane would win the titles on Raw the night after Elimination Chamber, going on to defend them until Wade Barrett and William Regal upset them on Raw. Barrett and Regal swiftly lost to Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater, who would trade the titles back and forth with Air Boom for several months. After both men lost their respective IC & US Championships, McIntyre and Rhodes reformed "The Dashing Ones" and captured the belts from Air Boom on Raw.
Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly started off the year as Divas Champion, but would quickly lose the belt to Beth Phoenix who would have a dominant run. Eve managed to capture the belt at Extreme Rules. Kharma flattened Eve to retain the title on Raw and would hold the title for most of the year, before losing it in a shocking upset to Alicia Fox, who would go onto lose it back to Eve the next month.
-------------------------------------
I've REALLY enjoyed Universe Year 1. I'm glad I decided to play every single match, because I've been quite invested in things. I'm hoping that I enjoy Year 2 just as much.
