Yokozuna and Jake Roberts vs King Kong Bundy and Neidhart - Heroes of Wrestling ppv 1999
was exactly the train wreck it sounds like. was interested in seeing Yokozuna’s last appearance and hadn’t even heard of the event before.

Starrcade 84'
Aside from Flair/Rhodes and Steamboat/Blanchard, I felt like this even was pretty much throwaway and not the mecca of wrestling they wanted fans to believe it was.

One of their better singles matches, even if it didn't have a clean finish.

Gustav Fristensky vs Josef Smejkal - 1913.
I watched this on Youtube earlier today, i don't even know how i got there.
Quite amazing when you compare that to what we have today.
Edit: Yeah it's not WWE but good enough.

Uncensored 1997
Really fun show IMO. The only 'throwaway' in my opinion was Glacier Vs. Mortis.

Rey Mysterio vs. Jimmy Graffiti from a Nitro in late ‘96. Poor Gigolo...gotta be one of the most half assed character changes in WCW history...he looks like Public Enemy’s white trash cousin.

Brad Armstrong vs. Marcus Bagwell. Nitro ‘96. ....this match ruled. Man, when Bagwell wanted to work, he was money.

cyberspam 96
random wild 6 man tag match to start that sandman shuts down with cane shots for all.
taz then destroys a random jobber. whipwreck hits the ring and gets destroyed too.
and now Pillman is doing one of the absolute best promos of his career, before it being shut down because he threatened to pull his wiener out aha.
seeing this I really wish that Pillman had ran back into Austin in ECW or more directly and that their wwf feud had been able to go into 98, 99 and beyond

WM IX. I know this Mania gets a bad wrap but over 25 years later I still enjoy it.
The highlights for me are HBK/Tatanka, Steiners/Shrinkers, Bret/Yoko(Good match for the short time they were given).I also gotta give a nod to JR,Heenan and Savage in the booth. They were entertaining all show and one of the very few 3 man teams I liked.
And oh yeah the set. Amazing.

I agree, I didn't mind it as much as others. I liked the three matches you mentioned, I also liked the Mega Maniacs vs Money Inc. and Mr. Perfect vs Luger matches. Also, I liked the set up of the Perfect/Shawn feud after the Perfect/Luger match. And I agree, the Heenan/Macho/JR announce team worked well together. Too bad they didn't work together more.
