I have 2003 on the brain for that match... But then I remember it was Steiner at RR03... But I still typed it 😅😅😅

Chris Benoit vs Jeff Jarrett from Nitro 11/11/96. Great little tv match with a surprise Stinger appearance in the end. Anybody know if there was some heat between the two? Seemed awfully stiff at times....

Just watched Bossman vs Nailz from Summerslam. Always loved Bossman and pre-ordering his new figure re-ignited my interest in him Boss Man didn't face Nailz at Summer Slam, they wrestled at Survivor Series 1992. Boss Man wasn't on the Summer Slam card and Nailz faced Virgil.

Lex Luger vs. Arn Anderson, Nitro 11/25/96. Great, great match. To me, AA is Lex’s best opponent. He always brought out the best in the Total Package.

Chris Benoit vs. Steve Regal, Nitro 12/2/96. They made the most of their 6 or 7 minutes. Interesting match, Regal gets busted open hard way about 30 seconds in and the camera gets stuck on hard camera angle for the last 5 minutes. Plus the Outsiders on commentary...can’t go wrong.

I wouldn't exactly call this classic but WM20 Goldberg vs Lesnar. Now I didn't really watch it for either of the wrestlers competing, or the fact it was to be their last match in the WWE for awhile, but for the referee...Stone Cold Steve Austin. If you do watch it fast forward to the end when the rattlesnake strikes and both men receive a stunner. Just beautiful poetic justice.

Vader vs. Steve Austin Raw 12/16/96. Wow, this one is an absolute banger. Would love to have seen a program with these two at some point. Awesome post match attack from the Hitman.

Im currently on a run of watching all the Coliseum Videos on the Network. Love seeing what random match ups you sometimes get on those, plus some really solid matches I've never seen before.
Note- Barbarian loses almost every match he's in with the "sit on your opponent and get reversed into a roll up" spot!

Dug out a Thunder episode circa February 2000 from my collection tonight.
Bobby Heenan calling the Mamalukes the ''Mamadukes'' made the episode. Even though he was nearing the end of his broadcast run he was still the man.

Just watched this match too on my way through late 1996. Its a belter...Austin's workrate and convincing movements are hard to match. Crowd gravitating towards him too. Also watched Sid vs Bret from IYH the night before. HBKs commentary definitely had an agenda...He was shooting like hell there at one point. Really well booked match though and the finish was killer in terms of establishing the ongoing story.

The final WCW Saturday Night episode from April 2000. Shame to see a once great show become what it did during that time period.

1996 Royal Rumble.
Entertaining event.
Goldust vs Razor was solid( despite Hall not wanting to work with the character)
Bret vs UT was unfortunately all about UT vs Diesel....did ZIP for Hart.
RR match was entertaining...I've always enjoyed HBKs win here.....McMahons Commentary was absolutely dire. PAINFUL.

Royal Rumble 1997:
Very entertaining RR match. The crowd being silent for Austin at his entrance was strange...but they weren't silent for long....excellently booked finishing sequence too.
HBK vs Sid:
Enjoyed this one too..some great back and forth action in fairness.
putting on RR98 now....a personal fave because of my fave winning it.

Royal Rumble 1998
Great card IMO....and I always enjoy this RR match because of Austin winning it. HBK vs UT was a belter too...…
